Stayed Feb 7, 2026House of Light was a great experience. The amenities of the house and the extra passes to the beach and Hilton allow for a full experience. The place was completely stocked with everything you and your family would need for the week. The grill was a high end easy to use grill. The washer and dryer worked perfecting. The showers and bathroom were clean and high quality. Having the garage stocked with body boards, but keys and coolers/beach chairs and Umbrellas are perfect for beach and fun. The host was responsive to inquiries and and made the experience easy and enjoyable.

Stayed Feb 13, 2025House of Light was amazing! We were two families with a toddler each and the house was spacious, had all the pool towels/toys/beach toys we could need, and was right next door to the pool. It also has two primary suites so each family had their own privacy. I couldn't recommend the pool enough for little ones. One of the pools is 3.5 feet with a large section even shallower for kiddos to wade in the pool. There's a separate lap pool for folks who don't want to share with the kids. :)The house was well stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen, including spices and olive oil, coffee, and even popcorn. The property management company was really easy to get ahold of when our car was too large for the garage and needed guidance on where it was ok to park. They picked up our call right away and were able to help. Super clean, super nice, light and airy and roomy. Couldn't recommend enough.

Stayed Apr 20, 2024We enjoyed our stay for the most part, but we did experience some problems. The biggest was the closure of the pool for few days during our weeklong stay for maintenance. We went with this property specifically because of its proximity to the pools and jacuzzies, but to our surprise, the jacuzzies were closed when we arrived and the pools were closed a couple of days into our visit. After two days of closure, we called to complain and within a few hours they were reopened. I wonder how long they would have been closed had we not called? Other issues included the air condition not working efficiently, a leak under the kitchen sink, which was clearly a known problem since a towel was left there to absorb the water, a fan remote control that did not work correctly, and a washing machine that leaked loads of water on the floor whenever we first started a new cycle. Management did send someone out to attempt to fix the washer with no success, but they were able to fix the link under the kitchen sink before we left. The biggest issue was the pool closure, as I believe we paid a premium for place so nearby but were only able to enjoy for about half of our trip. If maintenance needed to happen during this time period, we should have been made aware of this and offered a discount or an options to change properties. This why the 2 star location rating.

Stayed Feb 23, 2023Lovely accommodations in pristine Mauna Lani resort. Comfortable and attractive Hawaiian decor and furnishings. Kitchen well stocked. Convenient to fitness center and pool which we used every day. Pool and beach equipment provided and appreciated. Without hesitation we would stay here again.

Stayed Oct 22, 2022We really enjoyed our stay at the House of Lights home. Our timing was perfect as we enjoyed 88 to 90 degrees for the 13 days we were there. Host Management Company was/is most responsive when we needed only a few things. They provided everything we needed; beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, Boogey Boards, bikes, etc. However, I couldn't locate snorkeling gear; larger fins and mask that would work for me. Knowing how good this management team is I should have requested one but didn't feel the urge to do so. There are 5 snorkeling sets, perfect for my wife and/or children's sizes, which we didn't need. This unit is located close to the adult pool area and a few times, around dusk, we could hear voices, otherwise, it was perfect. We'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a special place to chill out. Mahalo & Aloha!

Stayed Jul 24, 2022We had an amazing time in Hawaii and it all began with our amazing rental and the management team at Paradise in Hawaii. The house was spectacular and surpassed all expectations. Thanks to clear and timely communication, the check in and check out processes could not have been easier and the house itself was super clean, comfortable, well appointed and stocked for all needs...be they cooking, cleaning, beach gear, etc. We loved having the beach chairs, coolers, toys, and towels available so we didn't have to worry about finding them elsewhere. Jeff, Suzanne, Marni and the entire team went out of their way to quickly answer all questions or needs, even going so far as to rearrange the cleaning service to accommodate an unanticipated late check out. We have already begun discussing our next trip to the island and our housing search will begin and end with Paradise in Hawaii. Mahalo and then some!
