Great location. Middle of the island near shops, food and drinks (within walking distance) Incredible beaches plus biking/walking paths. Also near rental fun (golf carts, bikes and kayaks) The beach side decks were perfect for coffee and cocktails! Included beach amenities under the beach house were very nice and used the chairs and umbrella daily. Great getaway. Short drive to historic downtown Apalachicola with many shops and dining choices. We will be back with more guests.

Amazing beach views from both decks and the house. Walking distance to several restaurants and fun activities for kids. Highly recommend this rental - SGI is beautiful!

Everything was wonderful! It was great being within walking distance of so many places at the center of the island. Being right on the beach was superb! Beautiful views!! The house is well appointed and the arcade game and ping pong table were a hit!

Beautiful home with a stunning view

We loved our stay! 10/10 as my kids like to say. The property is steps away from the park which our kids loved playing at throughout the week. We walked to donuts, The Blue Parrot for dinners, the ice cream shop, candy shop and grocery store. We even walked to the shop down the road and rented bikes one day which was fun. The home is as pictured, well maintained. I appreciated the beach chairs/wagon and other beach items that were available for use. Plenty of beach towels and bath towels available. My 7 year old LOVED the arcade system. The beach is so close to the house and so quiet. No fighting for a spot on the beach at 5 am! We are already checking calendars so that we can plan our next visit.

We loved this Luxury Beachfront House on St. George Island. It was exactly as it was listed and even better. Many amenities we didn’t even expect. The beds were very comfortable.The booking, check-in, and check out process was amazingly easy. Christine was easy to communicate with by text and always helpful; wanting our stay to be wonderful. This home is centrally located and right on the beach. Wake to a beautiful sunrise over the ocean, set up your beach camp right in front of “your place” everyday, and listen to the crashing waves each evening at sunset; paradise!We can’t wait to book this home again.

This home is great! Checkin was a breeze! It’s beautifully decorated, clean, and well stocked.

This was our third year in a row staying here. We love the location and how peaceful the beach is. It is close to all the shops and restaurants. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with! There were new chairs this year as well as a beach cart. We hope to stay here again in the future!

The location of the home is fabulous and the owner was extremely responsive. Although there were some minor issues(couch breaking, smoke detectors missing, no ping pong table), the owner sent maintenance to address what she could. The boardwalk down to the beach is falling apart and made us a little nervous for the kids safety. When the concern was shared, the owner said she has been trying to address the issue but that portion of the walk is shared with the neighboring house who won't agree to replace it. Overall, it is a fabulous home and we would definitely return for another stay.

Our family of four stayed for a week at the house and loved every bit of it. The house is in an excellent location and has everything you need to relax on the beach. Check-in was very easy and the house was just as advertised. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our 4th summer staying for a week in this property. It really is the most perfect vacation for our family! The house is beautiful and functional with a well equipped kitchen. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and though we bring our beach chairs we did noticed there were brand new chairs and a new beach caddy this year. It's walking distance to anywhere you'd need or want to go - fresh fish truck right outside; coffee truck around the corner; playground and basketball / pickleball courts right outside; less than 5 min walk to the Piggly Wiggly, Blue Parrot, Weber's Donuts, Paddy's Raw Bar, & Aunt Ebby's Ice Cream. The owner, Christina, is great with communication - super quick to respond. We can't wait to come back next year!

Our family loved this property. It was close to everything. We could walk everywhere we wanted. The location was perfect. The house was spacious and my kids loved the video game. We would stay here again!

Great place to stay!!

The check-in process was fantastic we were able to check in two hours early, which was a great start. The owner was responsive and easy to work with, and we appreciated that. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended.The house was not what we expected. It was dirty and felt like it was falling apart in many places. One of our biggest concerns was safety: the front door had no blinds or coverings, meaning anyone could see directly into the condo at all times. Even worse, there was no way to lock the door from the inside, so anyone with a code could potentially enter we never felt fully secure.The back sliding glass door was broken and extremely difficult to use throughout our stay. While the owner did offer to have someone come fix it, we didn’t want workers coming in and out while we were on vacation. The listing also mentioned a ping pong table, but when we inquired, we were told it was taken out by a storm last year. If it's no longer available, it really shouldn't be advertised.There were other maintenance issues too: none of the lights worked in the lower outdoor area, making it unusable at night. The spiral staircase is slippery when wet. The patio lights were hanging loosely by wires, and the walkway to the beach is in rough shape with soft, old wood. We had to wear shoes at all times outside just to feel safe walking. Also 4 houses from the public access you need to get up early, 6:30am or sooner or you won't have a spot for your family.

The house was exactly like it was advertised everything we need was right hear.We will definitely come back again.

Property owner was very communicative, check in and out instructions were simple and clear, the house was perfectly located and stocked with everything you could need including indoor and outdoor games. The view on the second floor of the beach was the best one out of all the houses on the strip because of the large windows. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

The house is amazing. The view is amazing. The location is absolutely perfect! Our kids loved the park that’s just a few steps away.

We loved our time at 44 on the Shore! The house is super cute and well-appointed and you cannot beat the location. Walk right out to the beach and walk to restaurants and shops. Check in was a breeze and communication with the property manager was fantastic. Highly recommend!!

Great trip. Owner's communication was exceptional. The house was located within walking distance of practically everything. Amazing views of beach and ocean. It was well stocked and beautifully kept. We can't wait for our next trip to St George Island.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, particularly the furnishings, front row, scenery, and location. Communication and responsiveness from owners was outstanding.

We decided on a very last minute getaway and we lucked into 44 on the Shore! It has all of the amenities we wanted. The house is exactly as described. The deck has comfortable furniture to enjoy the view with a morning coffee or an evening cocktail. We especially loved the location with easy access to the grocery store, a beach bar, and donut shop (cash only) We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We chose St. George Island for our Spring Break trip and we had the best week! We wanted a place right on the beach and this place did not disappoint. We enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning. The location was great; close to everything. The house was very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Christina was very prompt in answering our questions. 44 on the Shore is a great place to stay!

We had an incredible time at 44 on The Shore, unfortunately our trip was cut short due to the hurricane, but nonetheless, the home, the location, the views, and the owner's prompt responses for any questions or concerns was top notch. The home is decorated beautifully, the linens/towels are quality, and the attention to detail to make the stay as tranquil as possible was exceptional. We are already booking again. The owner is attentive and so helpful. 5-stars all the way around!
