Monte Rio area recently renovated Edwardian. 2 bedroom with loft for extra

sleeping space, 2 bathroom, large kitchen and convenient amenities. Modern

lines, large windows and walk around porch allow for maximum visibility to

redwoods and nature. Located in the heart of the Russian River wine

appellation and recreation area, within walking distance of Monte Rio theater,

beach & recreation area, bridge, children's playground, tennis courts, Redwood

rich hiking trails, and several restaurants and markets. Ample parking onsite

and property has 12 fruit trees. Surrounding fence offers privacy and

security. Community center and large parking lot next door so the property is

private and secure, but does have a bustle around it. Comfortably sleeps up to

6 people. Dog friendly!



Up to 2 x 60 lb dogs ok, for additional or larger dogs, please request.

The main portion of first floor of the property is not accessible to guests,

but there is a small storage area available where we've made the following

available to guests: beach gear, floats, towels, tennis rackets and balls, a

    This home is comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated! The owners have thought of everything. When you think, “I wonder if they have….”, the answer will almost always be yes .

    Loved that it was so close to the beach and river access. Also having the park/playground right outside the back gate was nice to have! My only critiques is that it is right on the highway so the traffic noise at night was pretty loud and the staircase up to the loft bedroom is pretty steep. Best stocked house I’ve stayed at as far as beach items and the kitchen goes! Overall enjoyed our stay for a fun family weekend.

    Loved our stay. Well-appointed, comfortable home with very nice furnishings and great details to make the stay easier (well-stocked kitchen tools, basic condiments and spices, bathroom basics). Comfortable beds and a nice couch for watching a movie. Despite a heat wave it was easy to cool the house down in the evenings. Great spot for us, baby and grandparents. Loved being able to walk down to the river!

    Hot tub, sauna, redwoods, what could be better!? The house is super cozy maintaining its 1870’s charm. Our two families stayed for our wedding and had the most amazing time. Everyone kept saying how perfect the house was. Thank you thank you!

    Our family of four had a wonderful weekend. The house is right on Highway 116, so there is lots of car noise, but it didn't bother us at all. The house is walkable to so many things! We walked to the river to rent kayaks (and get shaved ice -- twice), to get ice-cream, and to the Quonset hut theater to see a movie. It was truly fantastic. The house is newly renovated too, so everything was in perfect condition an the owners clearly have an eye for design and aesthetics. Would 100% rent the home again!
