Pet-Friendly Vintage Coastal Retreat – Walk to Bay

We were in San Diego for a funeral and cooked a few dishes in the home. Kitchen was well stocked which was a huge plus! Location was perfect as well. Parking was to the side of the home and very tight even for a small car. The home itself needed some TLC especially the bathroom. Overall we enjoyed our time there and would consider staying again!

Great condo/apt! 2 bedrooms, comfy beds. 2 bathrooms. Nice kitchen... Stocked with basics. Super close to both bay & ocean. Excellent communication with owner. Pet friendly. Parking space... Super small, but if your car is small... YAY!! (Parking in this area is at a premium!) nice patio. We will return!!

Decent place overall. The house was cleaned well. Both beds were comfortable. A few things could have made the trip smoother. For starters, a photo of both the exterior of the house and shed with beach supplies before check in would have been useful. Secondly, the main bedrooms tv did not work which was disappointing.

Apartment was fine, a little smaller than I expected. Beds were comfortable, bonus that it had 2 bathrooms, bedding was nice. The outside area was small but the plants were beautiful and provided some privacy and shade.

We had a comfortable and pleasant stay here. The location is very convenient to Mission bay where we enjoyed Paddle boarding, and also to the ocean side. The owner was friendly and helpful. He allowed us to use his paddleboard, life jackets, and boogie boards. The manager communicated well and quickly addressed any concerns.

Our stay was perfect for our activities! On one side we could walk a few steps to the bay, and the other side, we had about a 4 minute walk to the Pacific Beach. It's within walking distance to places for a pleasant meal out, but our kitchen was fully equipped to make a quick meal in. Wonderful vacation!

The host was very welcoming and responsive to issues. We also enjoyed having recreational equipment to use and the convenient access to the bay and the ocean.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. Will be booking here again next time we're in San Diego.

Perfect location, short walk to the beach, food and shops. House was cute, especially the courtyard. It was enclosed so our dogs were able to walk free. Everything we needed for our stay with our small dogs.

Nice rental in an excellent location. Steps from a walk along Mission Bay and nearby restaurants and shops. John and The Coastal Project were very communicative and welcoming—easiest check in possible and all was as described. Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen for the basics, and great to have a washer/dryer handy for the longer stay. The owner of the property is very friendly as well. We would return back for a stay in San Diego.

This was truly a wonderful place to stay. We were a little nervous when we first arrived when we couldn’t find the unit but you were immediately responsive and helpful and there were not any issues. Thank you so much for the hospitality. It was a perfect place for us!

The location and home was perfect for our needs during our stay. The host was very attentive and responsive if we needed anything. We will definitely stay there again when we visit San Diego.

The overall upkeep of the property shows a bit of neglect. However when we called to get issues taken care of they were very responsive. The Mission Restaurant is amazingly welcoming and a great staff and food was excellent. The World Famous restaurant for a late lunch was good also.

The place was in a great location between the bay and ocean. Enjoyed the bikes and beach supplies that were included. Responsive with our questions.

The location could not be beat and the property manager was super helpful. We will can't wait to visit again!

Perfect spot close to tons of restaurants and fun Belmont park. Mission bay rentals and grocery store. Wood highly recommend

My family and I had a great time. John was very accommodating. Condo was very clean and neat. I would definitely recommend.

Lovely place right next to the beach and bay! Less than a 2 min to either area which was very convenient. Place was also easily walkable to local restaurants and bike rentals etc.

We had a great stay. We were a family of four with ages ranging from 1 to 65 so we spent most time around the area and in the home. The home had everything needed for meals, with stores walking distance. Also the area is flat which was easy for baby/ stroller and elderly to navigate. Entertainment is every direction!

This was a great place just off the bay with enough privacy to enjoy some quiet time if needed or just a short walk to the water. They had all the necessities and some items to use at the water which was great as well.

we loved our stay. the house is cozy and very clean with a nice patio. The location is everything ! Bay side is quiet and relaxing and the beach side has more action. The views on both sides are gorgeous. You can walk to both and places to eat in minutes. We would go back again !

We were visiting the area to pick up our adult kids from their local colleges. The spot was as advertised and very welcoming! We enjoyed it very much! As a past San Diego beach resident I felt it was just right to be a lovely VRBO! Highly recommend!

Great location. Stones throw from the beach and the bay. Community vibes is what will bring us back.

It was a cute roomy place! Cute little court yard, well-stocked kitchen, and good sized living areas. Plenty of roomy for me, my husband, 2-month old twins, and golden retriever! Owner was responsive

Weren't on vacation we left Santa Monica to get away from the smoke from the Palisades fire

Great little apartment in the BEST location! I lived in Pacific Beach many years ago and it was so much fun bringing my kids (18,15,10) to my old stomping grounds. Literally a 30 second walk to bay or 90 seconds to the ocean. The provided toys were a HUGE bonus: 4 bikes, several boogie boards - didnt get to use the paddle board or kayak though, mostly bcz we just didnt have the time!. Great quality sheets and there were plenty of washing machine and dishwasher pods for us to use - there were even extra Keurig pods! The one suggestion I have to to put the address oj the back of the building as well - it took us several minutes to digure out where to go because the entrance is on a walkwal but younpark out back. Also. The parking spot is TINY. My Nissan Rogue fit but barely. FANTASTIC restaruants all over the place and great bars with happy hoirs.
