The property was very pet friendly, we loved it!

Check in was simple and the kitchen had all the amenities of home, directions for using items within the home and check out procedures were so helpful. It was so peaceful in the evening and the lack of light pollution allowed for viewing of the stars.

Home away from home. Everything we needed was there. The owners gave us great ideas of places to go and things to see. Will definitely return.

We called it the Summer Kickoff - Retreat Nonnie & Grandpa hosted our daughters and their kids on a revolving door basis - and the house was just perfect Beds for adults, pack and plays for the babies and sleeping bags for the kids - the rooms were bright and spacious and the outdoor area was ideal for kids to play safely with joyful freedom - Thanks Lorrie and Cookie

What a gem! As others have said, the pictures really don't properly convey how much thought and labor have gone into the decor, layout, and small touches of this property. We are so thrilled to have brought the first cat to Sweet Creek. Our big 'ol Maine Coone loved exploring inside and out. And the gifts and card from Lorrie and Cookie were so sweet! We felt very spoiled for our anniversary- thank you! Some general notes for others: - there is a bit of road noise when outside, but the lovely sound of the creek helps a lot. - There are 4 stairs from the ground to the porch/door. Be aware for bringing stuff inside or those with mobility issues. - The AC is a window unit in the living room. It works really well in conjunction with the fans, but just adjust your expectations a bit. - The yard is fully fenced but if your animal is small or medium, you'll want to keep them on a leash and supervised because the driveway gate is horizontal slat with large gaps. Also, they will want to explore under the raised porch, and you may have trouble getting them back out without a leash. - If you are a daytime napper, bring a sleep mask because the skylights allow for a lot of natural light. Great to see stars and the moon in bed at night, though! - Mattresses are firm. If you need a soft one, use the Sleep Number queen in the red room. - Sonoma Ziplines is 5 minutes away- SO AWESOME! We have been VRBO-ing for nearly a decade now and your home is definitely in our top five; Number 1 if we want to bring the cat again. Would stay again in a heartbeat! We enjoyed this well equipped and comfortable cabin. The property was fully fenced which was perfect for our two dogs. The owners were helpful with information about restaurants, hiking trails, and other points of interest. We would be happy to stay here again.

Steve and Lorri have a wonderful property located within easy access to all that Sonoma County has to offer. We enjoyed the large fenced yard where our two small dogs had free roam. As indicated in the amenities, there is a large BBQ, lounge chairs, outside tables to enjoy your meals, and the kitchen/supplies where enough to make meal prep easy. The small AC unit along with the overhead ceiling fans was enough to keep the house cool on the warmer (summer) days. At night with all the windows open a cool breeze kept the house pleasant. I would return to this property again and highly recommend it for anyone traveling to this delightful area.

It’s exactly as described. Fresh homemade cookies in the oven for us. Treats for our dog They truly love pets. Completely fenced in safe for pets or small children outside with porch around the outside grand. The house is filled with love thank you for an amazing stay It was perfect location to do day trips and come back to relax
