Pet Friendly Lake Front Getaway On Lake Champlain, Plattsburgh NY

Amy and Dan were incredibly gracious hosts, opening the home to us on short notice off-season to help us out when my family gathered for a memorial service. Truly wonderful people.

Dan and Amy were fantastic hosts. We had a few questions before our stay and they responded very quickly.The home is situated in a beautiful community and we were so excited as we turned into this quaint, little community. The house was perfect for our stay with 6 adults and there was plenty of room for additional people.The layout of the house is awesome and we loved seeing the history of Dan and Amy's family throughout the house. Beds were super comfy. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Clean linens and plenty of towels! Neighbors were super friendly. Everything was perfect and hearing the ebb and flow of the lake made sleeping so peaceful. We will definitely visit again. Highly recommend this beautiful home :)

We LOVED our stay at Dan and Amy’s home. The property is beautiful, the house is clean and well equipped. They are very responsive. Will plan a stay for next year as well.

This is a great place to stay for vacation. Our kids and grandkids loved it.They put an air conditioner in the living room and this was great because of heat that we got this year. Kitchen facilities had everything you need to stay there. Check in could not have been any easier. We plan on going back next year for our fourth year.

Our extended family enjoyed the beautiful views, prepared meals in the spacious well-equipped kitchen, and had plenty of areas in which to spread out and relax. The TV room/den was the perfect playroom/movie room for the 4-year old and 2-year old. Plenty of games and outdoor equipment at the house and so much to do in the area. Dan and Amy were responded quickly to all of our questions - they're great hosts! I highly recommend this property.

Great location..easy access to city and water. Plenty of room and space for us all. Excellent kitchen and available cookware. Weather cooperated. Lake water is COLD but refreshing.

We had a great stay. I grew up in Plattsburgh so it was a great place for my family and friends that came to pay their respects. House was very spacious and the view is spectacular

Came up for a hockey ? tournament, beautiful place , Amy and Dan responded quickly to any questions we had. Definitely will come back and tell our (hockey family) about the house .

We were very pleased with our stay. It was one of the best all around vacation locations that we've experienced. Very roomy and very well equipped.

Enjoyed the spacious living area; however, the house definitely needs care and could be cleaner. If you are not a fan of SPIDERS this house may not be for you! A good sweep down of webs and even exterminator would be beneficial. But I hate spiders!! Ack!!Location is a plus and kitchen is very nice. Washer/dryer on-site and an abundance of towels, also a plus. Perhaps a winter visit but due to spiders inside and out we would not stay spring through fall. Beautiful scenery though!

This was our second time renting this unit and have already signed up for next year. That should tell you how much we enjoy this place.

The home had everything one could need -it was clean - but really could use a deep clean. The view was beautiful and the house was spacious. The downstairs really needs a window air conditioner- it would make the humidity from outside more tolerable. The house really needs an update on mattresses and comfortable furniture in the TV room - better shower heads also. However we had a good time and it was enjoyable to have our dogs with us.

We truly enjoyed our stay in the North Country. The owners were very communicative and helpful. Appreciated the beautiful property and view! The house met our needs as a group.

Older home but well maintained, a few areas could have been cleaner. Great prompt communication with owners. We really enjoyed staying there for our fishing trip?
