Pet friendly cottage by the Delaware Bay-Townbank

Everything was wonderful. It was very warm and cozy. We would definitely stay here again. We don’t have pets, but this is a great place for travelers who do.

We had a wonderful time at this delightful little house near the bay. The house was well kept, had window units to keep the bedrooms nice and cool during the summer heat, a new AC unit in the living room for the main living areas and a very comfy couch! We enjoyed the fenced in back yard for our smaller children and the bay was a 10 minute walk (with small children moving a bit slowly). The house was very conveniently located to the ferry and many restaurants/stores. All in all a very lovely place!

We will see ya next year if all goes well. It was so GREAT for our dogs. They had a safe large fenced in yard to explore. It is beautifully redone inside. Plenty of room for 2 large dogs and my family. Thanks-A-Bunch

Excellent location, minutes by foot of the beach, really clean, everything you need, perfect for a couple and 2 kids, and/or dogs. Large fenced backyard. Minutes from restaurants and town. Definitely recommend this location and will go back when in Cape May.

Immaculate place in a nice, quiet neighborhood that is a short drive whatever you might want to do. Short walk to the bay (free beach) or within 15 minutes of the ocean beaches. Clear, timely communication from the host made it super easy to enjoy our stay.

Lovely upgraded bungalow in the charming TownBank neighborhood. Backyard is clean and huge for your pups. Shower pressure is fabulous, kitchen is fully equipped! Be prepared to relax & feel at home.

We love staying here! This was our 7th time, and we do not plan to go anywhere else. The neighborhood is extremely quiet, with only a block and a half from the beach. Our labbies love the fenced in yard, too. Newly upgraded outdoor shower and gazebo is perfect, off street parking, and everything inside the house is so relaxing for a stress free vacation. The hosts communicate easily, and always quick to respond. Oh, it's also close to shopping and great restaurants, and 10 minute drive to Cape May.

This house was very cozy and in a nice quiet neighborhood. Perfect for a couple or a family with one or two younger children since the second bedroom has a bunk bed.

First, I want to thank Jim and Linda for their top‑notch communication throughout the entire process. I truly appreciated the reminders around the property and the clear instructions on how to operate the heat and air — thoughtful details that made everything simple and stress‑free. You two were great hosts!!!I’ve stayed at quite a few VRBO properties over the years. Some have been pretty good, some have been regretful, but this one was absolutely phenomenal. We came to celebrate my 60th birthday and to do some birdwatching, and the location could not have been more perfect for what we needed.Being able to bring my two pups was such a gift. The fully private, fenced‑in yard was amazing, and I spent so much time relaxing under the gazebo. Honestly, that might have been my favorite spot of the entire trip. All you have to do is look up in the air, and you will be blessed to see many Osprey, Eagles and a variety of beautiful songbirds. Overall, I hope to return here time and time again. Everything about the entire rental process was pain-free and actually quite pleasing! Is truly a wonderful thing to have hosts who not only care about their property but about the people they are hosting.

House was in a great location. Inside was clean and modern. Bed was very comfortable. Our gracious host allowed us to check in early.

Really cute and clean. The yard was awesome. The dogs loved their first time at the beach. We enjoy cooking on vacation and the kitchen was well-stocked with nice cookware. Great location- a short walk to the bay- easy drive into Cape May and other surrounding towns. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

We had an excellent time - the house is clean comfortable and close to the bay for walking and biking - and a short drive to beaches and shops in Cape May. And our pup loved the large back yard!

This was our 6th stay, and we wouldn't want to book anywhere else when visiting the Cape May area. Everything is perfectly organized, it feels like home. Only a short walk to the beach, and minutes to drive to Cape May. We found great food at the local restaurants and wineries. Always a perfect vacation with our 2 labbies, who enjoy the fenced in yard.

Great stay

Fenced yard made it possible to allow my pups to run free. House was well taken care of. Outside area in back yard had an area that had pavers and outside furniture that we used daily to relax after busy day. Instruction for everything that we needed to utilize made for perfect stay.

Larger than we expected and a very cozy place. We absolutely loved our stay. Our more negative feedback to help improve - the floors were fairly dirty, recycling wasn't taken out from previous guests, and the couch smelled like dog.

First time using VRBO and this was just a great experience. Home was as presented, and as clean and comfortable as hoped for. The owners were helpful and accessible, the neighborhood was quiet and pleasant and easily within reach of Cape May. Would gladly stay again.

Five star, beach quarter mile down the road.

Stayed with my wife, kids, and dog. Fenced in yard was great for the dog and super quiet neighborhood. 1.5 blocks to the beach. Dogs can go before 11 and after 4 every day. Property owner has beach chairs and umbrella to use. Only negative was the AC’s in the room were dirty. Cleaned them up a bit and we were good to go.

Very nice updated two bedroom cottage. Plenty of room for us three. Two block walk to very quiet beach (no beach tags required). A very quiet part of the Cape May area. Easy driving to market, restaurants, shopping. The cottage was well equipped, beds comfortable, easy cleaning floors, lovely bath.

The house was exactly what we were looking for. Something close to the beach and to town. The only issue we had were the ant bait stations in accessible areas for our toddler and the mold/mildew in the window units that would just need a simple cleaning.

Really enjoyed ourselves. Could not ask for a better stay.

This is our 2nd year at this property. The home is the perfect little getaway for a relaxing weekend in Cape May. We especially appreciate the convenient location, being close to the bay. We travel with our pup so choosing a home that allows dogs is a must.

This property is perfect for small families who travel with their dogs. The yard is fenced in with plenty of room for the dogs. The short walk to the Delaware bay beach was fantastic. Close to Cape May and many other attractions

Comfortable and cute cottage. Great location and easy hosts. Only improvement is I wish we didn’t have to provide linens. It’s not really ideal when traveling.

Beautiful little house a few blocks from the bay that allows dogs..check. Brought my wife and kids and our labs to visit family. This house was perfect even in the winter. Plenty of room for us to relax after hanging around with family and walking the beaches. Had a slight snag on check in but the property manager was all over it and fixed it fast. Dogs loved the fenced in yard and kids loved the big bunk beds. House was clean had everything you need to cook or if you are lucky enough to be there in the summer go to the beach. Wi-Fi and Smart TV worked good for the kids and if it hadn't rained the days we were there the back patio looked amazing to just sit with a cup of coffee. Close to everything in Cape May or Wildwood located in a quiet neighborhood. Just a really nice dog friendly place with attentive hosts. Would def stay again.

Great location. Walked the beach every day.

We had a nice time on our shore get-away. The house was comfortable and the kitchen was very nice and functional. All directions on the owners were very clear and straightforward. There were good amenities and plenty of light. The beach was close by, and an easy walk from the house. There were plenty of places to walk or ride bikes. The air and the breeze wee lovely. We brought our 2 small dogs with us, and we felt very comfortable that they were secure in the fenced-in yard. It was easy to keep track of them as they investigated the boundary. The beach was dog-friendly, and the folks were so friendly. Older, less agile vacationers should note that front and back doors are accessed by wooden steps which felt a little steep. The driveway was narrow but functional. Several good eateries were close by - Romano's Pizza and Uncle Bill's Pancake House. Thanks for a lovely visit in Cape May.

This cottage is well thought out, nicely decorated, super pet friendly with a fully fenced yard and plenty of cleaning supplies for puppy mishaps and toys to play with. Amenities for us humans included the best stocked kitchen we've seen at a rental.rent

Great place and we had a wonderful stay. Short walk to the beach. Located away from the hustle and bustle, but a close drive to everything. The fenced in yard was great for the pups. If you love dogs and love beaches…this is your type of place.

We stayed for the weekend with our 14 year old son and black labrador. The home was so cozy and very, very clean. Fenced in yard was great for the dog and so close to the bay we walked down for the sunset - not to be missed. We are looking forward to staying again soon!

My husband and I throughly enjoyed our weekend. The location of the house is amazing, the property was just as described, would rent again if need arises.
