Pet Friendly Anza-Borrego Desert Retreat

We enjoyed our 5 night stay in this lovely, spacious home in the Rams Hill Golf Club near Borrego Springs. The patio faced the golf course and the view was more of the native trees and vegetation than the golf course itself which was a plus in our book! We love bird-watching and this was a great place to do it (including seeing two barn owls in the back yard). We also loved the peace and quiet and easy access to town and hiking trails. The host was very responsive to our questions and needs.

This is our fourth time staying here, great location, excellent golf course and very comfortable. Everything you need, we’ll be back.

I give it 5 stars - but the Spa didn't work (heating issue) which I was really wanting to be able to soak after 18 holes of golf. The good news is - there was a nice bath tub so I took a soak in the bath tub after a long day of golf.

Beautiful place in a beautiful area. The house was spacious, the kitchen well-equipped, and very clean. We will stay here again!

Good location, in a quiet neighborhood within the expansive and beautifully preserved and gated golf club. Host was very responsive. The house itself needs some tlc, updates and deep cleaning.

Wonderful two bedrooms golf course home, with hot tub and view of nearby mountains and golf course. Wonderful full kitchen and spacious living area. Great communication from the host. Beds are very comfortable and bathrooms are great as well. Will visit again!

This place was very close within walking distance to our sister and brother-in-law's home, where we spent Thanksgiving. Our gracious host Alberta welcomed us to the home, and we said our good-byes on our last day. Everything was very well communicated.

I needed a quiet getaway in a comfortable and beautiful setting, and that's exactly what I got. The gated entrance made me feel secure, the grounds are desertscaped and immaculately groomed. The house itself offered everything I needed or wanted. I highly recommend it.

We came down for my birthday to play some golf and relax. Second time we’ve stayed here and we’ll be back. The host is very gracious and accommodating. Great location and very relaxing. We love Borrego Springs and the Anza- Borrego Desert and have been exploring the area for twenty plus years. Plenty of places for exploring with our Jeep and Rams Hill is a first class golf course.

Super clean, well equipped, great location. I have privately communicated a suggestion for improvement to the host.We stayed there with another couple and there was plenty of private space. Location is inside manned security gates.

The home was comfortable and the host was easy to communicate with. The house seemed to be well stocked with everything we needed. We have a couple of suggestions for the management though: The property could use some updating. For example, master bath tile, hot tub cover, master bedroom mattress. Also, the cabinets and garage storage areas could use some reorganization. There was a lot of cluttered stuff and hard to tell what was intended for guests or old stuff left by the owner or previous guests. But overall it was a good place to stay.

We like this place. Quiet corner of the world. The house is comfortable. Pet friendly places with step-in shower aren’t all that common. I also recommend the restaurant at the club. Maybe the nicest venue in Borrego Springs, and not all that pricey by today’s standards

This was our 2nd time here. Nice place. Quiet.Internet searches can be slow. Netflix, etc. runs fine. Rams Hill development is pretty nice. Restaurant has great views, the food is excellent for the price.

We loved our stay here, and we look forward to our next visit!

Whole experience was excellent. Host was very responsive and helpful. House was pristine and beautiful, in a great locations. Would highly recommend this wonderful place to stay when in Anza Borrego.

This stay was our 3rd time at this property. The home is quiet and very comfortable, and the owner is responsive. A worthwhile getaway destination.

Very clean and comfortable, well appointed house in nice community. Outstanding host made sure that all needs were met. I'd stay there again if I was in the area.
