We didn't have any pets with us this time (a very nice break) and the whole place was spotless as always -- love having the laundry so we can take fewer clothes with us and wash/dry as needed. And of course Valerie is always SUPER responsive. First time we've stayed this late in the season (first week of October) and luckily the the first four days were great for the beach, one rainy day (so movies and shopping), and final day was great for biking. This time we mostly are in instead of eating out so kitchen and big kitchen which had lots of tools/cookware was great. And the Roku was a good touch as we could easily download apps for which we had subscriptions between the two families, so could watch things at night.

I have been visiting Dewey for the last 2 decades and this listing was my favorite. I hope to return. First, it sits on a private driveway so my one dog can relax not hearing people come and go to the beach. This was our first time on the south end but felt it was really close to everything. The house was clean and had a fresh feel with all the large windows to allow natural lighting and being set up higher than ground level. The deck was also very nice in the evening with the fairy lights and gate.

Love being so close to the beach. Host is always very quick to respond and communicative which is much appreciated.

This is the 5th time we've stayed here and we're already booked for 2026 -- it's just the right size for us (older couple and grown daughter) and allows small dogs -- fantastic location SO SO close to the beach, and walkable to so many restaurants, with Jolly Trolley available just two blocks away for trips to Rehoboth. We always enjoy our time here and the owner always manages to get us great weather!

Loved the cottage ! Plenty of parking , laundry room was equipped with nice washer and dryer . Plenty of room for 4 adults and a dog . Was nice to be on the deck and hear the ocean and so close to the beach !

This was our second year at Starfish Cottage and we will be back next year. The location is great and the house is perfect for two of us and our dogs. A short stroll to the beach and dog friendly restaurants. Very clean and well stocked.

This is our third amazing year!!! The house is steps to the beach with three parking spaces!!! Also, walking distance to restaurants and shops! Thank you so much for another wonderful vacation ❤️❤️❤️

Great location. Easy walk onto the beach, easy walk for plenty of food/drinks/activities. House was easily accessible, extremely well kept/clean, and everything was as described in the listing. Valerie was super easy to get a hold of and quick to provide answers/confirmation. Would definitely return with the family next summer
