Personal Resort: Private Pool, Hot Tub, Ocean Views, Elevator, Walk to Town

We've been staying at Southern Comfort since 2021. The host, Ted Waltz, treats you and Southern Comfort as though you are guests in his home. The house is comfortable, clean, well maintained and equipped. Ted is immediately responsive if there are questions or problems (rare). The description about the cottage, location, etc. are accurate. The beach is good. Short walk to town and various activities. Good area if you are walker for exercise. We've already reserved it for summer 2027 for our week at the beach for whole family.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful ocean view home! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and we loved being able to enjoy our morning coffee while watching the waves. The house was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy their vacation.The location was perfect, offering easy access to the beach while still providing a peaceful and private atmosphere. The home was stocked with everything we needed, making our stay comfortable and stress-free.We created wonderful memories here and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with stunning ocean views. Wonderful property and owners

Ted is a very accommodating host for his rentals. We enjoyed our stay very much, this house was located across the street from the ocean and within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. Our family reunion was a great success and everybody commented on how they would like to come back again next year.

There is nothing better than being together with the whole family. We loved being together in one home. There were a couple of issues with the heat (not often needed at the beach) as well as the pool and hot tub. Ted always answered my calls and texts and was very prompt to provide support and send over technicians.

This was our second year at the property. We had a GREAT time yet again. We had adults ranging from 25 to 75 years old and 2 infants who were one year old and two months old. The accommodations were good for everyone, and the location is absolutely the best. We spend a lot of time on the balconies and at the pool, and the furniture is perfect for those places. Having the pool was especially helpful with the infants, though we had them at the beach as well. There were some improvements to the property since we were there last year and all were great.I’ve stayed at several VRBO locations around the world, and Ted is by far the best host I have dealt with. He’s always responsive and actually gets things done. His attention to detail is great. We’ll definitely be staying at the property again. Thanks, Ted!!

Everything was wonderful! House was clean and very well stocked!

The house is beautiful and the location was perfect. It was clean when we arrived but were surprised to have to make the beds! There were plenty of activities for the kids at the house and many things to do in walking distance! I would definitely return

This house was amazing! My 4 kids, spouses and 7 grandchildren all were comfortable in the house - everyone had privacy and lots of opportunities to be together. The pool was a life saver!! The surf was a little rough this week - so the pool was awesome for the younger kids and of course we all jumped in!

We returned to Southern Comfort for at least the fifth time. The home (not just a house) is great for our extended family. The beach is a short walk (about 500 feet) and there is a pool in the back yard. New landscaping add to the beauty of the location. Furnishing inside are up to date and very comfortable. Space is conducive to our multi-generational blended family's activities. Ted, the host is always responsive to questions and help is always prompt and responsive. We've been to other places but regularly return to Southern Comfort. Guests are in good hands with Ted!

Was great everything was great. Just one oops the 3rd floor bathroom drained really really slow. Other than that perfect

The property was exactly as advertised... Whenever I go on vacation and rent from a website I always am concerned that it won't be what it is advertised as. The description and pictures of this property are extremely accurate. Everyone had an awesome time! There was plenty of room. Kitchen is well stocked, the pool has lots of toys. I highly recommend this home for an extended family vacation

Excellent property in great shape, comfortable inside and out, excellent location and wonderful host! Adequate and comfortable furniture throughout! Great kitchen accessories, pool toys and deck furniture! All 15 people agreed that the stay was thoroughly enjoyed by each and every one!
