Perfect upscale designer single family home

Location was perfect - block to the beach. Few blocks to town. Clean - beautiful home for our family vacation! Loved the huge table and sectional couch!!!

Great layout and space. Our family of 6 adults had plenty of room and never felt crowded. Location to the beach was a definite plus. We would definitely stay there again. Host was really easy to work with. Good time had by all!

Great stay. Pictures do not do this place justice. Everything has been renovated and is very clean. Far enough away from the beach to not deal with traffic but close enough to walk to Ina few min.

We loved our stay here. The backyard area was especially inviting, and when the sun moved further west in the early eve, some front porch sitting was to be had too! The quality of the linens was an added bonus!

I echo many of the past comments regarding cleanliness, supplies, location. My only suggestion would be a more accurate description of the property. The VRBO listing shows four bathrooms with four showers. The property has only three showers. The bathroom across from the second bedroom upstairs has only a toilet. Because the property description said it had three bedrooms and four bathrooms, I assumed there were ensuite bathrooms for each bedroom. There are two ensuite bedrooms (primary bedroom upstairs and the detached guest cottage). The couple using the downstairs bedroom had to walk across the kitchen and dining room to access their bathroom. Not horrible, but unexpected and disappointing. But once you know this, everything else was great!

Property is well cared for, efficiently managed, well stocked with essentials upon arrival & expertly decorated. Location is great allowing walking to the beach and/or downtown Encinitas. Thank you Cathy. We hope to be able to stay at your property again in the future. Rob

The house seems to have been very recently updated. The furnishings and appliances all seemed fairly new, and the decor was tastefully dinner throughout. There is a fourth bedroom in a side-building on the property that was great for the couple that wanted to sleep in and not be woken by the noise of the kids in the morning. Overall a great place, and we will look to stay here again next year.

The house was extremely well equipped, very clean and spacious. Th added guest house at back with twin beds, bathroom and air conditioning made out stay very comfortable. Will most certainly book the same property every year when we return for family reunions.

The cottage was everything our little family was looking for in a beach getaway. Perfect location, easy walk to the beach and to downtown Encinitas, lovely neighborhood, and the layout of the home was perfect. Guest cottage huge bonus! Would definitely stay again.

We were very pleased with the rental in Encinitas, the location is great with a short walk to the beach or shopping. The house was very comfortable and served as a great base for a relaxing vacation. I would highly recommend this rental if you’re looking for a California Beach vacation.
