Perfect location to relax, unwind, renew and enjoy San Juan Island

Great location, fully equipped house and kitchen, excellent communication with the host.

This Home is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you might possibly need to be comfortable up on the island! The house is immaculate inside and out. The property is beautiful! We were welcomed with treats for us and for our pups. We were even treated to three types of ways to make coffee! The bedding and bathroom accoutrement were cozy and of high-quality! Unfortunately, we couldn’t utilize the deck because of the weather, but boy did we want to! I cannot give this place enough applause! From my first interaction with this host to our last, we could not have been more delighted or felt more welcomed

Very nice home! We found the beds to be very comfortable, the showers were terrific and the kitchen very well stocked. Lots of space for us to spread out, read and play board games.

The floor plan and condition of the home is excellent. The setting is very relaxing and quiet. The home is well stocked with most items you might need especially kitchen items. The location worked out well for seeing all of the highlites on San Juan island. The property host is very personable and easy to work with. We look forward to staying here in the future.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home! From the moment we arrived, we felt like it was our home away from home. The layout is fantastic, providing plenty of space and comfort. It was comfortably accessible for my aging parents. The house was impeccably clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay.The location is perfect, with easy access to Roche Harbor and other attractions. On days when we chose to relax at home, we loved sitting on the deck, taking in the stunning views of the bay. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!

Great house! Great host!

We had a FABULOUS experience. The house was clean and very well appointed, with thoughtful touches everywhere that made our stay so comfortable. The house is spacious and nicely decorated, and the beds were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed having breakfast every morning on the large gated patio, which has a peekaboo view of the water but is still very private. Susan is a very responsive and helpful host. We would happily visit again!

Susan’s property is amazing. Very comfortable and well equipped. The location is a little remote, but was perfect for our stay for a few days with family before a perfect wedding event at Saltwater Farm in Friday Harbor. We will certainly stay again when we have an opportunity.

This home was perfect!!! It was so beautiful outside & inside & had everything we needed! It was an expect distance from Friday Harbor and don’t miss the Roche Resort area while staying! We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and the bed/bathrooms were stocked with all you would need. Do not hesitate to stay here when visiting this area!

This is one of the nicest VRBO's I've stayed in over the last 20 years. Besides being sparkly clean, there were so many touches that made it extra special. The kitchen was stocked with many extras (and had great coffee makers). The beds were super comfy. The floor plan is great for a family. I would highly recommend this wonderful home.

Had a wonderful stay at the Kittiwake Getaway! We have stayed in several VRBO's and this one was the best equipped one we have ever stayed at. From coffee and condiments to spices and pots and pans...everything we needed was there. The area is quiet and peaceful and the outside area was perfect for us. Highly recommended! If we are back in the area and in need of a place to stay, this will be out first choice!

The best experience ever! Everything was perfect. It had extra amenities as well. The hammock was a very nice added touch. The cookies were enjoyed by all, too. The location was quiet and perfect.

Great location, very clean, kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Beds were very comfortable. Fireplace on the patio was a fun place to congregate each night.

The property was perfect. The host communicated well. We loved the house and had an absolute blast. We were in a wedding so had lots of events. But closing our days in this beautiful and comfortable home was perfect. I highly recommend.

We came to San Juan Island to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our family. This property was a perfect place to stay. Everything was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the setting was great. The two dogs in our party give it 5 stars. Thanks for a grand time on a wonderful island.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay! The property was very clean and had everything we needed including a well stocked kitchen. It was so nice to have a high chair, pack 'n play, and toddler dishes for our 2 year old. This is our 3rd stay with Susan and we will definitely return again!

House was as advertised. However, does not say in the listing that you cannot use the garage. Was informed upon arrival that the AC was out and nobody could service it for over a week until after we left. Ran out of propane on the second day and host refused to repay or buy more so we did it ourselves.

We had a great time at your place. Perfect location for our island activities and wedding event and loved sitting out on the deck every morning and evening.

A beautiful house which is very well appointed with everything you need for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We particularly enjoyed the spacious living areas, kitchen and deck. Each bedroom has blackout curtains. Which was great for those who wanted to sleep-in. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again soon!

We especially loved sitting in the red Adirondack chairs to soak in the sunshine—perfect for morning coffee or evening chats. My granddaughter couldn’t get enough of the hammock (which she hilariously called “the panic”)!Inside, everything was just right—fluffy towels, an upgraded main bathroom & shower, and cozy touches throughout. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and we appreciated the amazing coffee bar setup for our mornings.This home is ideal for a relaxing family getaway, a girls’ weekend, or a quiet couples retreat. Susan's place was great for our group of 3 adult couples - plenty of space and very fast internet. Really appreciated that we could bring the dogs - they especially loved the fenced in deck. Overall a great spot near Roche harbor!!

We had a great stay! Everything was as described. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-appointed. It was a fantastic place for a group and in a good location - easy to get to Friday Harbor, Roche Harbor, and trails. I'd recommend it!

Restful stay. Well equipped rental. What stood out to me the most was the cleanliness of the floors and the comfort of the mattresses and pillows. I would certainly stay again.

The space was clean, and the layout was great! We loved the generous coffee bar, many kitchen appliances and amenities, woodsy yard, several fun board games for kids, and comfortable bedrooms. The location near Roche Harbor was lovely for us, and we really enjoyed wandering around the resort--the drive to Friday Harbor was easy and didn't take long either. Thanks for a great stay!

Great 3br house in quiet area near Roche Harbor!

This place is located in a nice quiet neighborhood with wildlife. We saw fox and deer on the property. This place has everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. The property was just as advertised, especially the bedrooms were very nice for the 6 of us and the kitchen area was well stocked for cooking at home. Thank you for letting us stay at your place. I highly recommend this place if looking for a San Juan Island retreat.

Being a bit off the beaten path makes this home as peaceful and quiet as it is. I've never in my life stayed anywhere as quiet, and in the four days we spent at this home we only ventured out to Roche Harbor for a few hours, spending most of the time in the home relaxing and enjoying the peace. The home was well appointed and we didn't lack for anything. Susan is a wonderful communicator and is warm and friendly, and we even met her sweet husband when we were leaving as he was there to tidy up the outside of the property! I highly recommend this property for a quiet retreat away from the noise of real life!

Clean and comfortable. with a great deck and fire pit. Easy drive to Friday Harbor but an easier drive to Roche Harbor which is much more laidback.

I just had a great stay at the place! The pictures are a great representation of the place! The deck is amazing. The location was great for us and the place was clean when we arrived. It also had really nice kitchen utensils and cooking pans! It perfect for family dinner. I would recommend staying here!

We had a great visit to Roche Harbor. The house is in a lovely wooded neighborhood and has a nice deck, living room and kitchen. Bathrooms are a little bit tired but overall we had a good stay and the property manager's communication/response to questions and feedback was amazingly quick and super friendly.

Beautiful, well stocked and maintained home. This home is very comfortable and in a perfect location on the island. Internet was excellent which was unexpected but so appreciated! I highly recommend this rental.

We had a lovely time at your property. We spent time on the deck grilling out and eating dinner, we enjoyed the hammock and the corn hole toss, the kitchen was well stocked, and the accommodations were great. If the opportunity presented itself to come back to San Juan Island, we would certainly stay at the property again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The home's layout was perfect for our family. We loved the quiet neighborhood and everything the island had to offer! We would definitely recommend this place to future guests.

We loved the location of this property as it was a short walk through the woods to Roche Harbor. But the property is close to neighbors and voices do seem to carry, so one does have to be mindful of making too much noise out on the deck in the evening. The kitchen is well-stocked, so it made cooking very enjoyable. We saw several deer around the house and it was fun to listen to the symphony of bird sounds while swinging in the hammock. The extra bedrooms were a bit small, but otherwise, it was super comfortable and a lovely getaway!
