We truly enjoyed our stay! The home is within walking/biking distance of everything including the beach. The house had everything we needed, was pet friendly and spacious for all of us. We met Dan, who was also so kind to speak with. Will absolutely stay again.

Our family had a wonderful time in Grand Marias. Dan’s home was the perfect location to enjoy all the beauty of the Great Lakes. We especially appreciated the friendly, small town feel. We love being able to walk around to Mass and all the eateries in the area. There is a Catholic Church walking distance from Dan’s house. Our kiddos had a great time and made so much good memories here. We will definitely be coming back for our annual family vacation.

Great spot! They have been/are making some upgrades, which is nice. The sauna was out of order, which was a bummer for us, but soon to be functional I was told. Easy walk to the beach in the bay or out to the big lake. I would highly recommend this place. It's a great spot and the owners are nice people.

We had a great time. The house was clean and neat and in a great location with plenty of parking. The sauna was not in service, but the fireplace was nice to have in the cold winter weather. We made lots of good memories and plan to be back!

Former locals in town for a quick overnight, attending a family/friends event. The games in the basement and the beach across the street kept the kids occupied while my wife and I were busy. Would recommend

Beautiful, well kept home, thoughtful & functional design for one person or a group. Both the vaulted ceilings & stonework were gorgeous. Game room was unexpected & fun too. Nice tall shower with good water pressure. Kitchen supplied with more than you need. Initial introduction with manager day one then he followed up to ensure we had his number for direct communication if needed. Many extras like the view, restaurants, pubs & even a hardware store close by. Several beaches to access within minutes for rocks, long walks or swimming. Central to other area sites not to miss either. All you have to do is get there & the treasure that is Grand Marais comes to you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home across the street from the bay on Lake Superior. The location is absolutely perfect with views of the water from big windows. It's within walking distance of downtown and the beaches. The house is very spacious and comfortable- great kitchen, seating, balcony, and deck. We loved the ping pong and other games in the basement, and enjoyed them for many hours in between sight seeing. We traveled west to Pictured Rocks and East to Tahquamenon State Park and the Soo Locks. We also spent many hours on the lovely beaches enjoying the beautiful rocks and scenery. This was our first time in Grand Marais and I fell in love with the area! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The only downside was that we couldn't put the kids to bed and stay up in the main living area because it is a loft, but we knew that going in and everything worked out just fine. We were all very comfortable and we had so much fun! Thank you for sharing your beautiful family home with us!

We love coming to the UP. The house needs some TLC with cleaning. The spaces that are harder to reach have not been touched for a long time, possibly a year or more, which makes me feel like everything is dirty. The extra shower was something to be desired along with the sauna. If it was cleaner and free of cob webs we probably would have used it, but it was not inviting at all. We will go back to the UP but don't think we will stay here again because of the lack of cleanliness. I would have know that the house has been cleaned up to get me to stay here again.
