Perfect Beach Block Oasis w Pool

Beautiful property, close to beach, extremely clean and well stocked. Would definitely stay there again.

Such a warm and family oriented property! Excellent location, wonderful furnishings, comfortable beds, and well equipped kitchen.

The stay was great! The home has such an appealing aesthetic, and our time there was so enjoyable. The layout of the house was perfect. Parking is terrific - big driveway and the 2 parking passes were a bonus! Lots of beach chairs which were great to be able to use. Fantastic all around!

We grew up going to Dewey/Rehoboth but moved away as adults - so every summer siblings and family come back together for a week of salt air and fun. We’ve stayed at many great places but this one jumped to the top. We loved all the common spaces available—you could have 3 different groups playing a game in 3 different areas. We worried about the small kitchen but it was more than fine. Loved how tucked away it was - birds chirping on the back porch. It was well equipped, nice decor, just a short walk to the beach. One note - the toilet in the bedroom off the kitchen is very low flow. Overall LOVED it and we will be back if available.

We love this neighborhood, and this home is on the beach block so it's about a 2 minute walk to the beach. The listing was accurate and the home was beautiful and very clean. Do heed the advice from other reviewers that guests staying in the king room or double room off the hall should consider bringing eye masks. One of the quirky charms of the home is the panels in the walls - they have curtains for privacy but can't completely block the light. We enjoyed the brand new gas fire pit on the patio. A very enjoyable stay and I would definitely stay here again.

The house itself was lovely… the furnishings and decor were beautiful! The kitchen was small, but ample.. and it was definetly the BEST stocked kitchen (cookware, platters, bowls, glasses, etc) of all the other rentals we have had over the years! The separate wine fridge was an unexpected bonus, especially when keeping enough food and drink in the refrigerator! The 2 king suites were nice, especially having back deck access from the one BR off the LR. The BR with a bunk bed was very small but it worked out that we could squeeze a porta crib in there, too. The bottom bunk and portacrib were for the 2 children under 3. One thing to note…the interior lighting fixtures and all the glass windows up to the ceiling were architecturally beautiful, but not so great for promoting a darkened room for children’s bedtime. Fortunately, there were LOTS of extra blankets to do the job! The walk to the beach was easy…the location to Rehoboth an easy walk, same to the bars and restaurants in Dewey. We brought our bikes which were used EVERY day and made it super easy to get around and see things! The front patio had a good quality gas grill and comfy seating around a gas fire pit. The quality and quantity of beach chairs was good; wished I hadn’t bothered to bring my own from home taking up so much room. Be aware.. the outdoor shower is VERY secure! Our daughter (age 33) could not open it from the inside…we later just closed the door for privacy, but never used the latch! Can’t wait to go back

This was a perfect location for a family! Home was clean and well equipped. Nice screened porch and especially on a sunny day...appreciated off street parking. Ample space throughout the home. Liked that it had 4 bathrooms and deckarea with outside shower in the back. Easy walk to beach and lake area. Beach had beach patrol which was great!

Well done, convenient and beautiful!

On the positive side, this house has a great location and new kitchen which is well-stocked. On the negative side, we had chilly weather. We do not blame the property for that, of course. We do blame the property for their lack of central heat & a/c. Instead, they have room-by-room units which were difficult to use (no instructions) and not able to eliminate the chill at night. Lastly, the mattresses in the room with two double beds are so worn out that we used them for only one night. My back still hasn't recovered!

The house is amazing -- well stocked, uniquely laid out, spatious yet cozy, short (and kid-safe) walk to the beach, walkable to Rehoboth boardwalk, etc. We had a fantastic time.
