Peninsula - Absolute Waterfront, Currarong

We couldn’t fault this beautiful property. The view was spectacular and the house was very well equipped. Access to water was fantastic and the kayaks and body boards were a great addition. We sat on the deck every night watching the sunset, and each morning watching it rise. We were a family of 6 adults and 2 children. We couldn’t fault The Peninsular at Currarong.

Lisa was a wonderful host - Peninsula is an excellent home in the best location in Currarong. We had so many activities to enjoy - but we also had a fabulous home to relax in and just take in the view ! Everything is provided and the facilities are great . Beds are comfortable and the outdoor shower is heavenly . Thank you for a wonderful stay

Beautiful location. Amazing view. Had everything we needed at the house. Having use of the canoes , boogie boards and kids sand play equipment really made our stay extra enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again.

It was very clean and spacious, definitely would come again

The only ultimate aspect was the view. We thought the location would be beautiful and peaceful but we were directly exposed to a worksite as the house alongside us was being renovated with tradesmen from 6:15am and the use of screeching power tools to cut stone for the crazy paving. Further, as we walked into the living area, painters and landscapers and other workers peered in at us. There was no courtesy call from the owner to warn us or offer alternative dates. As such, we were compelled to escape out of the house during the day. The whole place looked grubby and dated despite being cleaned and fresh linen. The internal and external blinds were a good! The lounge was grimey and the cane chairs uncomfortable on bare legs. The single beds are not at all suitable for adults. The bathrooms had foul odour at times. The life jackets for kayaks are old, mouldy and smelly. For the high price and 10/10 rating we expected a fabulous, modern, very comfortable place for 5 adults. However, this place is long overdue for a renovation and new furniture! Note, unleashed dogs at inlet and local beaches.

The host was super accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions.

The house was even better than the photos and the position was stunning. The house had everything you would have in your own holiday house including kayaks and lots of cooking utensils. As a group of women we have stayed in a lot of houses and all agreed that this was the best. Our host provided some information that was very helpful.

Everything was thought of in this amazing home. Luxury all the way and everything you could possibly need. Such a relaxing place

This was our second time staying at this lovely house. View is amazing, it changes multiples times a day with light, colour and tide. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay at Peninsula. The moment we walked through the front door we knew it was going to be a special trip. The views of the creek and bay are amazing. The tide was in when we arrived and we could see fishes swimming in the clear water. As we relaxed on the deck later that evening, we watched whales jumping in the bay. The house was big enough that we could all spread out and the beds were very comfortable. We all enjoyed playing in the creek, kayaking and swimming and our two year old had a great time using the toy dump trucks on the sand. As it was mid week, there were very few people around so it felt like we had the creek to ourselves. There were some nice parks a short walk away and also rock pools to explore. We drove the short distance to Callalla Bay for some delicious fish and chips and there was a good IGA store there too. There was a bit of construction going on at the property nextdoor, but as we were in and out and off exploring in the water, we weren't too bothered. If we get the chance in the future, we would happily return.

Loved our stay in this beautiful, well equipped and comfortable house in a fabulous location. Wish we could have stayed longer, it was one of our best family holidays. The kayaks were the perfect finishing touch. Lisa is a lovely host.

Such a beautiful location right on the water! Was so nice having the direct water access and sitting out on the deck and looking out over the water. We all loved it!

Every year along with a couple of girlfriends we head off for a few nights for a girls/ladies get away.We stayed at The Peninsula last year and had a fantastic time…so of course we decided to return again this year.We have just returned from a beautiful, relaxing 4 night get away.The home is perfect, plenty of space to spread out and relax to read a book or just take in the amazing view. Easy walk to beach, swimming, fishing, walking tracks and bowling club.Excellent communication with Lisa the host will definitely return again.

Fantastic few days. Lots of walks, surfing, swimming and snorkelling. The house is in a perfect location.

This property was beyond our expectations, we were so incredibly happy with our stay. The location is perfect, it’s such a great spot to just sit back and watch the tide roll in and out, or take a kayak on the river, or head over to the sea. The amenities were great, the house itself was so comfortable and we especially loved the stocked kitchen. We hope to make it back, not as easy given we are in California but it would be great to spend more time here!

We love staying at this house. The location is fantastic, with billion dollar views and direct access to the beach and inlet. The amenities are amazing and so thoughtful to how people would holiday here. Great accommodation for two families. Highly recommended.

This property is absolutely wonderful, with an amazing location and a beautiful house.Everything you need is readily available, and the shed is well-stocked with equipment for water activities. The kids had an incredible time!Lisa is extremely friendly and always willing to help, making our stay even more enjoyable.Highly recommended!

We stayed here for my Mums 70th. We were a family group from 70 down to 3. The weather was amazing and the home was too. It is the first home I’ve stayed in that is 100% true to its listing and photos. What you see is exactly what we got!! Plenty of dinner and glassware, cutlery, towels and bedding. There was so many games and items for the kids to use. We also had so much space to spread out when relaxing in the home. We absolutely loved our stay and Lisa is an amazing host.

The location was excellent. Accommodation was clean, with all facilities and good quality. Lisa was very responsive to our needs. I will definitely consider this place again. Thank you

Wow Wow Wow !!! Words Cannot describe how amazing this property was. From the moment we saw the pictures we could not wait to get there. Let me just say pictures do not do justice. It is 10000x better in person. The View from the back house is nothing but magical. The House felt like home. It had everything we needed to create our meals and makes us feel comfortable. Lisa was so easy to talk to and always responded if we nee to ask anything. The sound of the waves all day were just something that i could never get enough of. Having kayaks and lots of beach equipment available for our kids to use was sensational. Made our holiday more memorable. It is such an amazing property. We cannot wait to go back again. Great house great location. We had a wonderful time. Anything you could think of was available at the house. The water toys/equipment were fantastic and my kids really enjoyed them.

Our stay was nothing short of fantastic and we will absolutely be returning in the future. The location of the property on the lagoon, in our opinion is perfection. The house is well stocked with cooking utensils and cleaning supplies, the bedding and living spaces are clean, comfortable and enjoyable. If cleanliness is as important to you as it is to myself, you will not be disappointed.

Perfectly situated for relaxing, whilst watching the tides ebb and flow.Well thought out home allowing the kids to play endlessly, in the ever changing environment. The kayaks were a hit and the outdoor shower was well situated for returning little adventurers.

THE most amazing place I have ever stayed in. Naturally the gorgeous views but also the entire layout of the property. I would really love to take my son next time as he will be blown away. Lisa was so attentive and the communication spot on. I don’t want to recommend it to anyone else, as I want it alllll to myself.

Our group consisted of an 8 year old and her separated parents and it was perfect for us! Two master bedrooms and 2 kids rooms meant everyone had their own space.

Amazing property. Will definitely be looking to book again soon. House was perfectly set up for 2 families, the picture of the family ocean view off your back deck on the Stayz app was just as amazing in person. Private access down your own stairs to the water and a shower to wash the salt water off was just heaven.

Amazing location and great accommodation!

Beautiful, clean property right by the water. Lisa was incredibly helpful with any questions we had. The property was well equipped with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed kayaking in the creek off the back steps. All in all an amazing, relaxing trip.
