Penelope Stone: Charming 2-story House above Kalami, Corfu

A delightful stay, with stunning views over the bay from the spacious balcony. We were 2 couples and it was ideal with separate bathrooms. There was dedicated parking off street which was good. An easy, short, albeit steep walk down to the beach, but also an easy drive down. Penelope's mother lives next door and was delightful. We didn't use the small kitchen to cook as we ate at the Taverna next door. An excellent house and definitely recommended!

It's a beautifully situated location with a lovely sea view and a good restaurant, Dimitri, right next door. Finding this location wasn't easy, but luckily the owner was there. We wanted to arrive earlier than 3 p.m., and that wasn't possible, but when we arrived, the owner was perfectly fine with it. It's a lovely place to stay.

The views, location, hospitality was incredible. Just stunning. Everything that you need for cooking but we didn't cook as the kitchen was dark and not very sociable and nowhere to sit and socialise only outside. it was a typical greek home and very special.

Wonderful villa, beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Close to Kalami beach via a rocky path or with the car. Stunning views of Kalami and you can buy everything you need from there. Hosts were so lovely and supplied extra towels etc as needed. Highly recommend for a quieter part of Corfù and the perfect base to access the rest of the island.

The apartment was lovely, spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need on holiday. The sheets and towels smelled like home, we felt right at home. We highly recommend it as a base for touring the north of the island!

We had such a lovely stay in Penelope whilst in Kalami. the views from the property were outstanding and we loved watching the boats come and go in the evenings across the bay towards Albania. We found shade beneath an olive tree on the upper terrace and I spent most morning reading my book there before the rest of the house was awake. The house had everything we needed including air-con, which was essential as temperatures reached 35-40 degrees for most of our stay. The staff at EOS were incredibly responsive and helpful when we requested a later check-out due to an evening flight. the walk down to the bay and the village was via a goat track through an ancient olive grove, highly recommended for fitness!
