Had a great time with the family! Cute house with a lot of room and a fun dock for the kids to fish off of! If you have a dog, be sure not to step onto the neighbors property. She isn't very friendly!

The house has pretty much everything you will need to enjoy your stay. The beds were comfortable. We had plenty of towels for 2 people with very nice laundry equipment onsite. The kitchen had everything we needed. For the most part the entire house was clean, check in / check out was easy. The neighborhood and location were very good. We brought our two dogs and walked them in the area every night. There was also a very nice dog park in town and Rockport Beach has a nice dog area. Shopping and restaurants were very good. My only real issue was the cloth furniture inside and outside. Outside I would have liked solid wood or hard plastic seating instead of furniture with the dirty pads. Inside it was a little better but stains on rugs and some furniture was not ideal. There was a noisy window a/c unit in the front room but we just left it off. It wasn’t needed. The outdoor grill was dirty and had rusty grates so we didn’t use it. The kitchen had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and the people were absolutely friendly. The waterway view is nice. Plenty of parking. They have a bunch of board games in the front room in case you need the diversion.

So cute! Love this house. Tasteful beach decor, not overdone. Lots of places to sit inside and out. Perfect for a family even though it was only the two of us and our two dogs. We were looking for a fenced yard so potty breaks were easier without a leash. Fences were not tall enough for our jumping dog but with supervision she was mostly contained. Hubs fishes out of a kayak so the canal access was great. He could pull right up. Our only complaint was a lack of response via email from amnagement.

I reached out to Vtrips/Miss Kitty’s via the chat option shortly after booking. I had two questions about the property and wanted to find out about a possible early check in. Every vacation rental I have ever been a part of has had no problem accommodating special requests such as an early check in if feasible. I never heard a response back although I sent 3 messages. I then called 3 days prior to my arrival and I was told that early check ins are never granted, after I pressed and asked to speak to a supervisor I was told to call back the day of my arrival to see what could be done. They day of arrival came and I called about 9 am, I was told again that early check ins were “generally” not allowed but that they would reach out to house keeping to see if they could have it cleaned earlier than usual and to call back at 12:00. I called back at 12:00 pm and was told that I needed to back after 2:00 pm because housekeeping was not even dispatched until 11 am. I also asked and was told that no one had occupied the property the day prior to my arrival but that they still had ZERO idea if it had been cleaned, if it needed maintenance etc. I called back at 2:00 pm, I let the property manager Amber know I was in town and had drive by the house to see where it was while we were killing time waiting on check in and that no one was at the property. Amber then reluctantly told me she could give me a 3pm check in. When I asked why I couldn’t check in at 2 she said it would cost $$
