Peacelands is one of the few homes in the area to have direct access to Jordan lake. A short walk down the path, and you will find yourself at a lovely spot on the lake. Enjoy birding, fishing, swimming, boating, or the awesome daily sunset! The bonfire is a guest favorite. Our home is a unique two story duplex. Stayed Oct 8, 2025Lovely location to rest away from city noise. The area is close to everything needed that wasn’t in the home. Danta, the host was very sweet and easy to communicate with and was very responsive to my needs. The only I didn’t find in the description of the property was that the host lives upstairs and can be heard moving around and talking when it’s quiet. Something some guests might want to know in advance. Overall a great home and location, with an excellent host.

Stayed Feb 19, 2025This property worked perfectly for me and a friend to stay for a few nights. We could easily travel into Durham/Raleigh/Chapel Hill, then retreat again for some peace and quiet. The house was comfortable and well furnished with everything we needed. We loved taking the trail down to Jordan Lake. Would definitely stay again next time I'm in the area!

Stayed Nov 22, 2023What an absolutely lovely weekend. It was a great opportunity to unplug, sit by the fire pit and unwind. We walked the trail to the lake and played games. There is no TV and we didn’t miss it. Plenty of grocery options near by. It’s a great little hide-away.
