WOW! This is a true hidden gem! If you love rustic charm with all the amenities, this is it! Even though you are minutes from pretty much everything you need, at the house you are set apart! We lived the feel, character, and realness of the house! Thank you for sharing your home!!

We had a very nice stay here. We did have a couple of issues that were resolved fairly quickly. Property was nice, owners friendly and responsive. Only 2 negative things I could say beds could use replacing and sitting outside on the big porch in the morning was wonderful except for the dog kennel across the street. To be fair the kennel is across the street and slightly around the corner but they must have had a full house because it was very loud and made sitting on the porch less enjoyable. The house was well kept and we did enjoy our stay. Thank you.

Awesome place for a getaway. All the amenities with a country feel. Fishing pond was great!!

We enjoyed feeling like we were in the country! The trees around the property were pretty. The roosters across the pond were a fun fascination for our pup! Would stay here again!

What an AMAZING WOODEN SHOE TREASURE TO SPEND CHRISTMAS WITH FAMILY! This is an ideal place to have a family reunion. They even had a toy closet for the kids. The teens enjoyed the pond and roasting marshmallows on the fire pit.

The feel of being in the mountains without the road trip. Located off of the main road but easily accessible to any of the places we wanted to go, shop and eat. The cabin itself was lovely! My grands were happy little campers and so excited with all of the fish that they caught in the pond. Struggled with the stove/oven but eventually got the hang of it. This was truly one of our best Thanksgiving's ever!

The Wooden Shoe is perfectly set in woods but close to everything. We've been coming to this house for a solid 10 years & it's consistently perfect. The owners are responsive & kind. Do yourself a favor, book this home!

We stayed at the cabin while our boys were playing at the USA Baseball facility. It was a short drive to the fields. The cabin is well equipped with everything we needed. If in Cary again, we will definitely stay here!
