Stayed Aug 1, 2025We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage on Crystal Lake. The location couldn’t be better. It's just a short walk from the most stunning lake I’ve ever seen. The water is shockingly clear, inviting, and warm, making it perfect for swimming and paddleboarding. There were times when it really felt like we were in the tropics with the clear teal-blue water. The nearby town of Beulah is adorable, with charming shops and a great brewery. The cottage is also a short drive to amazing attractions like the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, which is a must-see for anyone visiting the area. The cottage itself is full of rustic charm. It's bright and cozy, with comfortable beds that made for great nights’ sleep under the peaceful canopy of trees. There are so many windows and a beautifully remodeled large bathroom. The atmosphere is perfect mix of nature, comfort, and small-town charm. This was our first trip to Northern Michigan and we are already dreaming about coming back. Lake Life is calling our name!

Stayed Jul 8, 2025Not trying to leave a bad review, but just needed to note some things. There is no usable yard. It is a wooded lot like stated but literally no usable yard. You are literally getting a small cottage (small driveway) on a side street. You do have to walk to the end of the street for the public access to the lake (located across a 2 lane street) which is very small. Cottage was very clean. Personally, I thought 374 per night for the stay was extremely high for this property.
