Peaceful mid-century escape with screened porch & lake access

The host was very welcoming! They provided communication before, throughout, and after our stay. Even when I had questions about things they were very quick to response and resolve!

The house seemed very clean, however, the trundle bed had stained sheets on it and when I removed the sheet the mattress protector was covered in urine. I messaged the host and they thanked me for letting them know and said they would get back to me but never did. I also found a pair of girls bathing suit bottoms under that mattress. The queen mattress definitely needs to be replaced. The screened in porch is nice and my kids loved seeing all of the deer from the backyard. Overall, I would stay here again.

Very cool home in a quiet neighborhood that was full of deer everywhere. We really enjoyed our three night stay, the house was perfect for us!

The property was just as it shows online. The screened in porch was EVERYTHING. It was only missing a hammock and/or daybed in my opinion. Help was only a text or call away.

The home was beautiful and clean, but a huge inconvenience was the fact that all the doors didn’t have locks. The lock that was needed the most was the one for the bathroom in the hallway. Also, we had trouble with the front door lock. We communicated with Property Mgr. and they were unable to help us lock the front door from the outside. We ended up figuring it out, you have to enter the door code to lock it as well. One of the bedroom lights also didn’t turn on and that was inconvenient as well. I do recommend door locks on all doors, especially the bathroom in the hallway. Other than that, it’s a great house!

This was our second stay at Sunset Villa, it was nice returning after 2 years to visit family. We love the quietness and the viewing of the deer, however this time around we had to deal with the noise from the neighbors dog whom I'm sure was just excited to see the deer. Looking forward to visiting again for the peace and calmness this neighborhood provides. Also hopefully we will be able to visit the Lake on our next visit. Would also love to know if there is a trick to get local TV channels in this rental as we love to stay in tune with local news and weather. Thanks for a comfortable retreat!

Pristine white tile floors, comfortable will appointed. Inviting acreened in porch at the back and sitting area out front. So many features that make this home at the top of the list of VRBO’s we have stayed in.

The house was great. Clean, spacious and comfortable.

We loved this house...and wound up staying for four weeks! It was the perfect retreat but also a great place for us to work from. The neighborhood is cute and quiet. We walked to the lake a few times a week. The dear were so fun to watch. And the sunsets were incredible!!! The house was clean and comfortable. Some short term rental pictures look great but the stay is uncomfortable. This wasn't the case. We have recommended this home to our friends, and we would absolutely go back! Lago Vista is a cute community! And we highly recommend that while you are stay at the house, you go visit Hannah and Drew at The Burger Bar. We would recommend this house to any couple or family.
