Peaceful haven ★★★★ – charm between Quercy, Périgord & Sarlat – Heated pool

The property is excellent - very comfortable, modernised but without in any way compromising its character. It is very well equipped - one of the best we have stayed in in 30+ years of this sort of travel. It is perfectly located to reach a great many of the Perigord sites (don't miss the Sarlat Saturday morning market!) and yet remarkably quiet. And our hostess and host, Nicole and Michel, are fabulous. Heartily, heartily recommend!

Beautiful gite in a wonderful rural setting. Stunning views from the patio and the swimming pool was lovely. Our hosts were so kind and friendly. The gite was very well equipped and stayed cool downstairs even when it was above 35 degrees!

We can not begin to express how wonderful our two weeks stay was at Michel and Nicole’s beautiful property in Saint-Aubib-de-Nabirat. The cottage (gîte) was everything we expected and more. We felt at home the moment we entered the door. We found it an ideal location for making day trips to lovely surrounding towns and historic sites, or just relaxing and taking in the beautiful panoramic views. Michel and Nicole’s welcoming nature and generous spirit made our stay that much more special. Nicole’s expertise in her kitchen was on full display with the delicious appetizers and fine walnut wine we shared over pleasant conversation. As a added treat we had the privilege of meeting their son Rafael who was home for a visit and gracious enough to assist with translation when needed. If your travels brings you to the Southwest of France and the beautiful Dordogne region we wholeheartedly recommend this lovely property. Thank you Michel and Nicole for a most enjoyable stay. We had a great holiday in Larcher. We were with our family (two kids of 3 and 5) and really enjoyed the house and beautiful surroundings. The striking views, the child-friendly swimming pool, the cute house and the very kind hosts all contributed to this. We would definitily recommend this house.

This country home in the rolling hills of rural France is like a dream. It's close enough for easy visits to the medieval towns of Sarlat and Rocamadour, as well as prehistoric caves and cro-magnon museums; but also far enough away from everything that you can enjoy the beauty and simplicity of life in the countryside. Nicole and Michel are wonderful hosts who did everything possible to make our stay most enjoyable!

A lovely Villa located in the heart of Dordogne valley - 20 min from Sarlat and lots of attractions and sight seeing near bye. The villa is well equiped with modern kitchen, the rooms are big and comfortable. All around there are nice small villages and green fields studded with small forests. 10-15 min drive ffrom the villa you can buy what ever you need in Gourdon or just 5 min from the nearest village for a warm croissant. The owners were warm, friendly and helpfull. I was there with my family and I highly recommend this Villa for a vacation in the area.

Friendly hosts, beautiful location in the peaceful countryside. Well equipped house with good size pool and huge fire place. Close to Sarlat and Gourdon and the Dordogne river.
