Peaceful Canyon Lake Retreat at Casa del Lago!

we had a great experience. We were guest at a wedding at the near by Kibble Ranch. We enjoyed using the grill and the back patio was spacious and welcoming.

Overall a pretty great stay! The location was easy to find and within driving distance from many cool places. The house wasn’t as clean as I would have preferred, but we cleaned up a bit when we checked in and it was fine.

This home is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and super relaxing. The outdoor above-ground pool is wonderful to beat the Texas heat!

The description states it sleeps 9 but it can only sleep 7 as there is only one set of bunk beds instead of two. The place was set up nice. The yard is big and was great for the dog to run around in. It also was a nice central location. We had a couple of cleanliness issues including the sheets and the stove had left over food from prior guests that caused the house to fill with smoke.

My two girlfriends and I loved the place. It is adorable, decorated nicely, and very clean! The beds were comfortable, and the linens were good quality. The furniture in the living room was comfy also. There is plenty of outdoor seating. We enjoyed drinking coffee, rocking in the chairs, and swinging on the front porch. It was so peaceful...not a sound to be heard. The backyard had all kinds of seating for eating and kicking back. It isn't the time to swim or build a fire, but these are great amenities for the appropriate time of year. Finding a place where the three of us could have separate bedrooms was a real treat. This home has plenty of beds for a big family. The home has everything you need for your stay. The host was fantastic and available when I could not find the code to get in. They also checked on us to make sure we were happy. This place is exceptional. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Very clean and well stocked. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We loved the big back patio and speaker system. Lots of comfy seats and PLENTY of towels!

We really enjoyed this cozy lake home. It was very clean and well decorated. It had plenty of seating inside and out. We loved the pool and the sound system on the patio!

We had an amazing time. The house has everything you need to have a great time. Relaxing in the pool and watching the deer was definitely a bonus. We visited Canyon Lake, Guadalupe River, Selma Racetrack and Wimberly. Check in was smooth and easy and the owner was great about relaying all the important info. We can't wait to come back.

As soon as we walked in the house smelled amazing, even the kids gasped at how clean and cute the house was, Michael was easy to talk to and responded quickly. We had a wonderful time ?

I am picky. I want clean and I mean CLEAN! This place was exactly that and more. They thought of everything in terms of what you will need during your stay. The place is beautiful and the surroundings are as well. Deer and lots of babies roaming around. Coffee on the front porch in rocking chairs or porch swing, listening to the birds. The pool was clean and big enough for all of us to get in and have a blast! The beds are so comfortable as well. We all loved it! I will be back! I think we will all be back! The host was quick to respond to any questions I had and so kind. Loved every single second of it!!

We have rented many homes, especially at Canyon Lake, but we have never been so happy with one. This home is stunning, clean and updated. The beds are comfortable, pool was clean, and exacy as advertised. If people stay in the bunk room where the washer and dryer is, it does get a little warm because there isn't an ac vent, however we put the standing fan found in the master at the door frame of the room and it really helped. We never figured out how to use the outdoor speakers, but that was the only negative. Also, I am a below knee amputee and my shower chair fit perfect in the shower. My only suggestion to the owners is to put a wand shower head in to make it easier for those in my situation. We will absolutely return to this home!

We had a fantastic time at this lake retreat with our family. We spent four days and three nights there. The house was perfect for our six-person family, including four teenagers, my husband, and me. Michael was very responsive and answered all of our questions promptly. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool, and the house stayed cool at night. The shower had excellent water pressure, and using the grill for cooking was easy. The location was convenient, with the Guadalupe River for tubing, Wimberley for dining, and Gruene for dancing nearby. We're looking forward to returning with our boat to ski on Canyon Lake, TX. The house was spotless and easily accessible.
