Peaceful & Beautiful Lake Front 3 BR/3 BA Hideaway on Eagle Mountain Lake

The good***•We rented this property for our wedding ceremony, and it was perfect, just perfect.•Be up front with Selene about your purpose for being there, our purpose was having a sleep-in wedding venue, and all I had to do is tell her that. There's an additional 200 fee for that but it is what it is.•We had eight 34-38 year old friends stay, and every bed was very comfortable. •Theres a working air hockey table.•We were able to get ready in separate quarters.•There is a washer and dryer on site that is able to be used. •The air conditioning works great. •The patio is perfect for dining and they supplied mosquito repellent as well. •The view of the lake is just phenomenal. There's always something icky about swimming in brown water, but thats Texas for you. •We were able to seat 36 people, ourselves included, for dining. I recommend renting from Texas rentals. I was mostly concerned about screwing up their patio furniture.Misc***Well, I can think of a few things that really irritated me, it was completely out of Selene's control so I can't really hold it against her.•It's not really close to anything, so driving to get necessities is at least 10 minutes. •And the neighbors are apparently very crabby, antisocial people. So no loud music etc past 8:30 PM•The neighbors also affect street parking. (There is none) So if you have a whole bunch of guests, it's better to contact Azle High School and shuttle from there.I would rent this place again in a heartbeat.

Had everything we needed and more. Host very responsive. Good location to stand up paddle board!

The property was great, very spacious. A great location for my daughter to have a small get to her for her graduation.

Beautiful, very comfortable and luxurious home. Stunning location right on the lake with a large lakefront property line. We hung out on the dock, lounged in the grass, and sipped our coffee on the lakeside stone patio. We launched our kayaks right from the shoreline using the stone steps into the lake. We cooked every night in the gourmet kitchen and ate dinner on the massive deck overlooking the lake. Perfect place for a family retreat!

There were 5 boys and the house did an amazing job containing everyone. The bunk room upstairs fit all 5 boys very comfortably and the adults slept great downstairs. The outdoor space was awesome. We did s’mores and spent hours and hours in the lake. There were hundreds of bugs and lizards And we even found a scorpion in the bathtub and a tree frog in the upstairs which were both a big hit. Overall we had a blast

I was looking for a place to host a remembrance party for my grandmother who lived locally. The host responded to my inquiry right away, with enthusiasm. The kitchen was perfect for preparing food for people. I appreciated being able to take my time getting ready and then cleaning up. The common rooms are open to each other and very spacious, and the seating for guests (inside and outside) is plentiful but spaced out enough so people can separate in to groups and still be together. The pictures are gorgeous, but they don’t do this place justice. The view is nice, the porch is incredible. All the ceiling fans inside and outside were a major selling point, because from here originally and I remember how sticky the summers can be. There’s humidity controls inside the house even. There were lots of bugs, which is exactly what I would expect, but weirdly we didn’t get bit by a single mosquito. I also got to spend a few nights here alone with my partner. It was very romantic and peaceful. I had a great time, I’m super happy, and I’ll stop gushing now. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very comfortable. The binder on the table by the front door answered many of our questions. The Christmas tree and decorations were beautiful. We had a wonderful time!

The lake is down right now, but beautiful well maintained home with many amenities. Quiet area with a added bonus walking distance to brother in law‘s house. Not our first time here nor our last. Gracious hosts. Enjoy!

Our stay at Selene's home was everything we expected. The location was gorgeous. The home had full views of the lake from almost every room. It was quiet and safe. We had a lovely family vacation there.

Overall the home was beautiful inside and out, the cleanliness of the home was amazing. I would advise anyone renting the home that the driveway is very steep and getting a trailer down it is a task, but other than that it was an amazing home to stay at.
