PCH Bunkhouse

We would absolutely stay here again- the bunk house itself was decorated so cute and it was so comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked and were perfect. LaRhonda, the host, greeted me and was so friendly. Her directions in finding it were also on point. It was also quiet and in a great location to SLO and Morro Bay.

It was so cute and cozy! The beds were AMAZING with so many quilts you could pile on. The porch has a spectacular view of Mount Hollister. We were there during a cold spell so we didn't use the porch as much as we could but on warmer days, I can imagine seeing condors flying around Mount Hollister. The cupboards had every dish imaginable but it made it tricky to store food. Lots of room in the full-sized fridge for everything though.

This property is beautiful, quiet and incredibly peaceful. Tranquility best describes it. The hosts are very warm and welcoming as are their numerous pups who are also very friendly. Wouldn’t change a thing.

This was the most wonderful relaxing retreat for our anniversary. We will definitely be back. The home is well kept, lots of amenities and the location is great—private, secluded, and only a short drive to the beach.

Fantastic Location with beautiful plants, bunnies and hummingbirds. Warm, comfortable bunkhouse with well stocked kitchen.Not allowed to walk around on the property. Luckily there were many hikes nearby. Beautiful ocean beaches in Morro Bay.

This was the perfect place to stay while visiting my daughter for parents weekend. The cabin is on a beautiful piece of property and was super comfortable, well maintained and equipped with a lot of attention to detail. It is a little bit outside of town which was nice, especially during Halloween weekend!

This little gem is so comfy and private. The host was warm and available for an need but what could I have wanted? The place was lovingly set up with every amenity anyone could want. Lovely stay!

Accommodations were clean and well maintained. Unique setting. Host was on site for any needs, of which there were none.

It’s a bit off the beaten path but we were given clear instructions on his to get there and the place was very nice. We only stayed one night and really just slept there but enjoyed it.

I grew up in the area, and this location was a surprise and wonderful find!! Easy access to SLO and south, and Morro Bay and north. A beautiful, quiet, country retreat with great amenities and a wonderful host!! Absolutely recommend checking it out!! A heartfelt thank you to the hosts from me, my daughter, and my brother.

We had a wonderful stay at the ranch. It was so peaceful sitting on the porch and looking at Hollister Peak. The ranch met all our needs and was close to SLO, Los Osos, Morro Bay and Paso. We had a great time!

Great location for Morro and CalPoly

Bottom Rock Ranch was more than we expected! We were pleasantly surprised by the dogs on the ranch who came to visit us during our morning coffee. We were far enough away from the road to enioy the chipping of birds, but close enough to visit surrounding areas. Highly recommend! Only downside, but not, was no TV.

Our three nights at the PCH Bunkhouse was just what we were hoping for; a charming cottage with thoughtful decor, comfy beds, and well equipped kitchen. The Bunkhouse is just off highway 1 between San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay, but feels like it's out in the country, a lovely location. LaRonda and Guy are friendly and helpful hosts.

My family had an incredible stay at the bunkhouse. It was spacious, clean, peaceful, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. The hosts were warm and welcoming. It was a great location for exploring Morro Bay, SLO, and the surrounding coastal towns. I would strongly recommend this stay to others.

We spent 3 wonderful nights at the Bunkhouse — comfortable,spacious,fully equipped kitchen — our hostess, LaRonda, understands and anticipates her guests’ needs. And a spectacular view from the front porch of Holliter Peak & its wildlife, to boot. Highly recommended.

This is not far from Cal Poly and SLO and close to Morro SP, which has great hiking options. It was so nice to have some down time at this property. Amazing setting and Hollister Peak is gloriously looming right there. We loved getting to chat with our host.

We only had time for a whirlwind drive down the coast, arrived in darkness… so imagine our delight to wake up under the most amazing pinnacles and old coastal trees! A wild storm began while we were enjoying a cozy morning coffee, and it was incredible to watch the weather from this cozy bunkhouse. I look forward to booking a longer stay in this lovely place.

Great oasis to unwind

This was perfect for our Parents weekend adventure.

This is a really unique and beautiful property. I wish that we had more time in the area to explore. The cabin was quite large, very lovely, and caringly decorated. It was also spotless, which I always appreciate. The property is very cool. I would definitely recommend this spot.

We received a nice welcoming from host and easy access to the property. Comfortable home in a country setting. Overall we enjoyed this home and location but there were quite a bit of dust under the beds and floor.

Overall comfortable stay, lots of space, but there were some spiderwebs and some Kleenex/face tissues would be nice to have available. Check-in was easy but I wish it were a little more secure. I was concerned that someone else might enter the VRBO ahead of us, which would not be safe obviously.

Beautiful spot for a short stay during a college visit! Instructions were very clear, and everything was easy. Comfy quilts and beds.

This was by far one of the best locations I have stayed in the last 4 years. It is authentic, and every detail match the house. So enjoyed it!!!

Two bedroom one bath house with a great kitchen and no living room. Nice porch with beautiful views. Host was excellent to deal with. Gave very specific instructions to get there and very responsive. easy in, easy out.

Both the property and hostess/host are welcoming and very pleasant. We stayed in the “Bunkhouse” which was very comfortable for 3 women. However just as a side note, which was not a problem for us, there is no “living room”. There is a sofa in one of the 2 bedrooms. The weather was perfect so enjoyed the front porch which had a spectacular view.

Even better than advertised. The property is beautiful, the bunkhouse is rustic with very comfortable beds. Location is great, it feels isolated, in the country but is still only minutes from beaches and attractions. Our host was great, would definitely stay here again.

Driving up the PCH and seeing Hollister Peak ahead was magical. We were welcomed by 2 of LaRonda and Guy’s friendly dogs . The beauty surrounding the bunkhouse took our breath away, The Bunkhouse had everything and more for a relaxing,enjoyable stay ! We hope to return again . I highly recommend this place 💗 and

We absolutely loved the location, the privacy, the welcoming decor, and the cleanliness! The hosts are very nice and we were visited by their little dogs which was an extra special treat. I highly recommend this place. You won't be dissappointed.
