Stayed Aug 16, 2025We really enjoyed our stay at Pause at the Pier. The house was very clean, close to the beach, and a few steps from the pool. The house also comes stocked with all the essentials you need to take down to the beach. Thomas was a great host, and communicated extremely well with us. I’d highly recommend this property to those looking for a place to stay at the beach.

Stayed Jul 5, 2025Great property really close to the beach. Loved the ice maker in kitchen. The property owner allowed us to use the beach gear stored in the outer storage unit. That was a plus for sure. Overall experience was excellent.

Stayed Oct 18, 2024It is a very nice and clean house. It's located near places to eat, rentals, bars, groceries, surf shops and a pier. The beds were really nice and comfortable. The living room had a spacious couch and big TV. The owner was super nice and easy to get a hold of. The beach is right across the street with white sand. Super place that I would recommend to anyone.

Stayed Sep 26, 2024A perfect spot for a weekend getaway, even with the effects of Hurricane Helene. The house is comfortable and my adult kids and I enjoyed quality time together in the area. It was nice not to have to pack all of our beach gear and use what was available at the house.

Stayed Jul 20, 2024This was our first time in SC, and we enjoyed it tremendously. Our stay was great, the food in SC is fantastic, and there was plenty to do. We chose this location to stay out because we were able to bring our two dogs. Our host Thomas met us when we arrived, showed us around, and gave us a lot of great tips on how to enjoy the week. We would definitely stay again and I highly recommend - A++ for cleanliness, hospitality, and all the in-home amenities you could ask for. Great stay!
