Perfect house, perfect location and the storks were perfecttoo

Our family of 6 greatly enjoyed our visit to Eguisheim. The home is modern and clean with a fully stocked kitchen and excellent bedding. The bathrooms were spotless and spacious. A favorite gathering space was the beautiful terrace, covered with well maintained flower containers and a large table with plenty of seating. We especially enjoyed the ping pong table, even in rainy weather as it was located in a weather sheltered space. The host and hostess were warm, friendly and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend staying at this special home!!

Our family had an absolutely perfect stay at Pascal and Josee's home in Eguisheim. The house is located right in the village in an ideal location. It has been fully renovated with most rooms having a private bath, a wonderfully large and well stocked kitchen and very comfortable dining and living area. The house is immaculate and wonderfully updated. We were able to take walks in the vineyards just a few blocks away from the house, tour the village and its shops, as well as do day trips to Colmar, Strasbourg and Freiberg and come back to a place that was beautiful to relax in and really felt like home. Pascal and Josee are attentive and gracious hosts who will greet you to get you settled in and are responsive to any questions or requests. All in all it was an exceptional experience.

The house and its location is perfect for a holiday for a group of grown-up and picky people as we are and the reception and support by the hosts Josée and Pascal was fantastic.

Very nice house perfectly equipped. All rooms with bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Excitable hosts. The ability to pack 3 cars and safely leave the bikes. Excellent location.

The photos on Homeaway had us wondering about the beautiful house waiting for us but as we arrived, we were truly amazed with the minimalist yet cozy style, the well thought of details in each corner and the beautiful decoration that was there for us to enjoy through four days of our stay. We were 3 families, had plenty of space, bathrooms for each room, storage more than enough, just anything we could ask for. Nice views and daylight from each window and cozy warmness after a day of Christmas-market hopping between towns. The huge dining table in the living room did actually fit us all around and created a good reason to wake up and sit all together for an inviting breakfast with fresh bread and cheese from the village stores around the corner. The kitchen has every need covered to cook a nice meal, anything we looked for was in the cupboards. The house has a beautiful terrace which we plan to use during another visit as it was too cold but our sweet hosts Pascal and Josee had a tree lighted up out there to welcome us every time we came back from sightseeing. Eguisheim might have it's charm during other seasons as well, but Christmas lights and decorations makes it like the scene of a fairy tale, we more than loved it. You must come here, it would be a shame to have never experienced the Alsacien christmas magic. Dear Pascal and Josee, thank you for being such nice hosts, for a lovely stay at your beautiful house and for the delicious cake and wine you left for us. We really hope to be back soonest we can.
