This place is amazing. So unique and interesting. Katya is the perfect host, she met us and helped us get acquainted with the area and the place. We would recommend this place as the perfect spot with an authentic feel.

This was the best holiday rental experience I've ever had! Katya is helpful and so welcoming, wating for our arrival with a homemade kugelopf (almond brioche). The flat is absolutely charming, comfortable and tastefully furnished with antiques. Eguisheim is a really magical town. Extremely quiet and peaceful even on a weekend in July. This place feels like a well kept secret without any crowds of tourists. We had great food and wine, I can't wait to return!

I really enjoyed my stay at this historic flat. The owner was away during my stay, but she made sure that I had all that I would need and answered any questions that I had. The flat is very charming and has all the nessesary amenities for a comfortable stay. You feel as though you've gone back in time and the tourists look at you with envy as you unlock the door to enter the apartment. They must be thinking: I wish I could see inside!. You are located in the circle of the village of Eguisheim and can walk easily to all the restaurants and shops. Parking a car was a bit challenging for me, but I succeeded. All the free parking spots in town filled up before my arrival and I had to leave my car just outside of town in the paid public parking overnight. Although the sign and ticket allow for you to pay until the hour of 19:00, I was happy to find my car still there when I woke early the next morning. I moved it to a closer, free parking spot near the flat but when I checked on it later that day I saw that the town had placed a sign up warning that all of those parking spots would need to be empty by 8am the next morning...so much for sleeping in! Other than the parking drama, everything was lovely. I hope to return again someday! Thanks to the owner for her hospitality.

We chose Eguisheim as a convenient stop over for a few days on the way from the UK to Italy. We were not disappointed. Katya's apartment is right in the heart of this picture postcard town, with its excellent choice of reasonably priced restaurants, local wine producers and shops. We were welcomed by Katya's octogenarian but remarkably spritely parents with a lovely cake, home made preserves and vegetables from their garden. Inside we found a traditionally decorated and totally charming first floor apartment, with beautiful displays of antiques throughout. The bedroom was very comfortable, the modern bathroom large and convenient and the kitchen well-equipped. All-in-all the perfect hideaway, winter or summer. We'll be back!
