Stayed Jan 30, 2026Our host was extremely welcoming! She answered any questions we had and was quick to help if anything was needed. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was cool but we were able to use the outdoor stove once and it was a great atmosphere. The kayaks and SUPs were great to have. The beach area and dock were gorgeous and well maintained. Downstairs they have a bin with an assortment of life jackets, water toys, flippers and snorkel gear. Just a couple of things, but nice to have to supplement what you have if needed. Everything was very clean. The permanent/long term campers were super kind and helpful, even recommending their favorite things to do locally. We felt very safe with our kids there, and it was comforting to have the property gated. It felt very secluded. The dock, boat ramp and beach area are shared with the 5 or 6 camper spots, but it was no issue for us. They were kind and social, but we didn’t see them much. CVS is just about a block walk away so that’s handy. On the one calm night we had, we could hear loud music from what was likely one of the resorts a little way down the water front. We didn’t mind though. Seems like they have weddings up and down the water at various resorts almost nightly, which we got to see from the kayaks on the water. Very pretty! There is mangroves and an island of mangroves you can paddle to. We saw iguanas, roseate spoonbills, various other birds, and even a small bonnet head shark just chilling by the island. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Stayed Jun 21, 2025Our family of 4 just returned from a week's stay at this wonderful property. We had our own private oasis. The views were spectacular, my husband absolutely loved the outdoor shower, and my sons and I loved using the kayaks and paddleboard. The hosts are wonderful. If you have any questions, or need anything, they are so quick to respond. We can't recommend this place enough!

Stayed Jun 8, 2025Here’s a detail list of my pros and cons. Pros: the view is amazing. The sunset is phenomenal. The dock is new and easy to tie a boat or a jet ski and still have plenty of room. We saw manatees, dolphins and starfish right off at the dock, so many different fish. We caught small sharks, barracudas and some other, really pretty fish. The water had enough beach area where you felt comfortable swimming, and you can clearly see the bottom. The house has a great space up under where you can entertain with a refrigerator and freezer, stove and sink area. Plenty of seating. We spent every single bit of our time outside rather than inside. We never use the kitchen in the house. We use the kitchen downstairs for everything. The house was extremely clean. The AC was great since we went in the middle of June. It was really hot/humid outside, but you could never tell when we walked inside the house. It was always cool. There was plenty of extras such as floats and some fishing things in the building, we utilize the shared washer and dryer quite often so that was nice to have.Cons: I wouldn’t say there were really any cons to the property more highlights. There are 7 camping spots when you pull in and it feels a bit awkward when they are full and sharing dock and beach space but everyone was so friendly, we didn’t mind. The mosquitoes were INSANE, so bring a fan for the downstairs area to keep them away. That with bug spray worked great. Overall, I would 100% stay again. It’s 10/10

Stayed Jan 8, 2025We enjoyed our time here very much. The house was great and the view was awesome. Lots of restaurants nearby and some within walking distance. Even though it was a little on the cold side (January-60s/low70s, windy) we still saw manatees and dolphins. The gate was a little hard to find as it is somewhat hidden but we figured out to just look for Mrs. Macs Kitchen sign. Great trip!

Stayed Nov 18, 2024Location, location, location! Waterfront house with a beautiful view and a great shared pier. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the waters of the bay. We used to live in Key Largo and we were within easy walking distance of several of our favorite restaurants.

Stayed Jun 26, 2024The pictures of this wonderful bayside home do not do it justice. We were treated to a clean home with beautiful views, kayaks to use, beach and dock for our boat during our stay. Pam and Chris were very responsive to any question we had and the check-in/out process was simple. After showing our extended family photos and videos of this beautiful stay, they were immediately interested in booking for their vacation.
