Paradise on Bluebird

This was a great place for my family to stay. We were in town for a wedding and it worked out great!

This was a nice place for us to stay so we could enjoy a family reunion in the area.

This property was a true jewel. Nothing left to the imagination. The home was clean and the check our process was very simple. We will book this home again on our next trip to Effingham.

Enjoyed a girls weekend at the house- great setup with enough beds, and beautiful lake scenery. Living room is lovely for relaxing. We could have used a bit more in the kitchen (large utensils, baking sheet, pans)… but minor detail that didn’t change a great stay! Recommend!

The house has everything you may need inside and outside. On beautiful lake Sara with kayaks available to use. We will be booking this stay again.

We had a local wedding and this house was perfect for my husband (and me) and our 3 grown children. Thanks for all and wish we had more time to use the kayaks!

A group of us who volunteer for Poss Music Works rented this home while working the Summer Sundown Music Festival. Normally we do a hotel in town. It was so great to have a comfortable place to go with great bathrooms and comfortable beds. Having a kitchen to cook in was the best part. We will definitely be back.

Our family came to town for a little family reunion and celebration for aunt Turing 100. We used to stay with my in-laws back in the days but both have passed and we wanted a special stay somewhere and we found this beautiful place. My family enjoyed kayaking and watching the sun come up on lake Sara. We would totally rent this beautiful home again

Beautiful house by the lake in the nice neighborhood

We had 7 family members on our trip and enjoyed every minute of it at this beautiful house. We had everything we needed and then some. Plenty of seating indoors or outdoors for meals.

Came to Lake Sara for a golf outing weekend. We brought 6 friends with us so we had 8 adults and we fit perfectly in the house. These owners know how to host! We will definitely be back! My in laws have a boat dock across the cove from this house so it worked out perfectly for us to park our boat at the rental and boat over to my in-laws dock to hang out and swim.

We have family in the area so we were not at this property most of the day, but we thoroughly enjoyed the evenings and the quiet location!

House was very private and quiet. We truly enjoy Lake Sara and stay in the area 2x per year from Florida to see family in the area. The house is laid out a bit funny but comfortable overall. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Adding some comfort items or items that make a longer term stay easier like toaster and/or air fryer would go a long way. Host or main point of contact is great communicator and very friendly. My feedback would be to open the space up and de-clutter some of the 11-13 end tables and trinkets. Simple is more!

It’s a great place to be with family to relax, visit, enjoy time together. Beautiful house, very nice, lots of nice touches! Great dock, lake is really nice. Very pretty area, peaceful. A comfortable, enjoyable experience! The Marina has a great place to eat and enjoy a band. The Marina area also has great outdoor pickleball courts, playground, outdoor workout area. Our vacation was so fun!
