Great house, great location, great communication!! The house is very well equipped with all the essentials for days on the beach. The high chair and pack n play were extremely helpful. It was nice to not have to worry about packing or buying these items. We truly found paradise for a week and had an amazing family vacation! Thank you Karen & Christine for making our stay feel special.

Best view ever!

We stayed here for parents 80th Birthday with extended family. Communication was excellent and we really loved that we could go back and forth between the two homes freely thru the connecting door inside and on the deck. Stunning views and house in excellent condition.

Our family had an absolutely amazing stay at Paradise Found! There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space or to gather together in the large den/kitchen/dinette area on the top floor. Great ocean views from both balconies perfect for watching sunrise and sunsets! Fully furnished kitchen, lots of great beach chairs, toys, boogie boards, & family games/movies - this place has it all. Our checkin/out was super easy and we had great communication with the house manager throughout the week anytime we had a question. I highly recommend checking out this property for your next family getaway!

The photos are gorgeous and lots of positive reviews (which I did not read carefully I admit) prompted me to go ahead and book despite what I considered a very hefty price tag. This house has the atmosphere of a shabby beachfront home that a friend might let you use for free. There is leftover food in the pantry and refrigerator, broken beach toys and busted up tents/umbrellas all over the back porch, a hot tub with a torn up mildewed cover, and burned out lightbulbs- but hey it’s “homey”However….. When you pay thousands of dollars you expect a premium, well maintained space. The outdoor shower was spewing an errant stream that prevented the shower head from working, the hot tub was pretty gross with a beaten up cover that smelled, and murky water. There were 2 towels per bathroom? Lots of beach towels in a basket downstairs which we used for inside and outside.There were burned out lights over the stairs making it hazardous. We had no hot water for two nights! Nothing like a cold shower…. They finally replaced the broken hot water heater after several texts back and forth. I asked twice but got no answer whatsoever when I inquired about a partial refund for the lack of hot water. I would not go near this place again! Believe me, you can do SO much better.

Loved being right in the beach! Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes.

My cousins and I rented the house for a long weekend get-together. The house was the perfect size, right on the beach so the location was excellent. The whole house was very clean upon arrival and the kitchen has absolutely everything you can think of that you would need. We enjoyed the deck, the view and comfort we found there. The house has beach chairs and towels which was handy as we didn't want to pack those items. We had a couple of questions while we were there and had to text the house manager but she got right back to us - super responsive! Highly recommend this house, we'd stay there again in a hearbeat!

This was such a beautiful home. Everything as promised. No effort on our end - arrive, relax and enjoy. A much needed weekend away with memories I will always cherish! Highy recommend booking here. No regrets!

We were very happy with the home we stayed in. It was very bright with gorgeous views. We watched dolphins play right from our decks. We would definitely stay here again!

We had the best time at this property! The beach front was perfect for dolphin watching and reading on the decks!! We saw dolphins everyday. We loved the hot tub and walkability to the beach. Would recommend to anyone!

Our long winter weekend with friends was perfect in this house. Beautiful views, comfy beds, plenty of linens, beach chairs, and the hot tub made our stay so sweet and easeful.

The 8 of us (+ 2 dogs) had a great stay at this property. It was very clean and the owners were very responsive to any questions we had throughout the process. Location is very walkable to downtown Surf City (~10 minute walk), and it was very nice to just sit out on the deck and watch the waves.

Overall we really enjoyed this lovely beach house! A few highlights…Beds were very comfortable, lots of seating, and wonderful views! Took off one star because of the malfunctioning dishwasher and the ant problem. House manager Christine was awesome. She answered all texts quickly and professionally and listened to my concerns about the dishwasher and the ants we noticed right away in a couple kitchen drawers. She offered to send pest control but we declined due to the age of our little grandchildren. We sprayed with the supplied ant spray and it got better. Would love to stay here again one day.

The property was convenient for our group and clean. It was easy to get in and out, and even though there was public access right next door, we had no issues. There were a few areas that were showing some wear and tear, but overall it was still decent for our group. I think this is probably the case for all houses on the beach. They take a lot of abuse from the elements.

My husband and I enjoyed our 4 night stay with our three adult children, their partners, one infant and a dog. The house was nicely appointed and stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful view, ocean front, walking distance to restaurants, bars and coffee shops and a short drive to grocery shopping, Walmart and area attractions. Heads up for larger groups that area restaurants do not seem to take reservations and the waiting times can be long.

We have stayed at this property 5 out of the past 6 years. My only regret is that it wasn’t all 6 years !!! Clean. As advertised. Great staff. Fantastic location. The property owner strives to make your vacation relaxing. We just returned 3 days ago. I can hardly wait for next year….

We rented this home on the beach for a long weekend. It was everything we hoped for. The lower level had beach towels, hooks, and little bags for shell collecting (which was a nice touch). We didn't use the spa or outdoor shower, but having the hose on the patio to rinse your feet after beach time was great. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the house had some supplies like laundry soap and tp that meant we didn't have to rush to the store right away. The rental has a pay-it-forward motto, so we left food behind for the next guests. The closet in the kitchen had games and a small library (with some fun reading). And the view was amazing! Karen was very nice to work with through the entire process. The only 4 rating was because the coded lock on the door had issues and we didn't get a key delivered to us. But, with a little oil, we were able to coax it into locking. No big deal at all. Oh, and the carport can hold 2 vehicles end-to-end, which worked out for our group. And did we mention the view!!!! The great-grandparents in the group appreciated being able to be with us on the beach since there are 2 decks that hang right over the sand! We highly recommend Karen's place if you are planning a trip to the Surf City area! Mike & Kathi

Second year booking! Love the space and amenities! Family enjoyed their stay most importantly. We will be back next year!
