Stayed Dec 28, 2024I booked this property for a week trip with my husband and 18 year old son. The listing said it slept 6, but it is a one bedroom loft with a sofa bed in the loft bedroom. That wasn't a big deal for us because my son was OK with sleeping on the couch downstairs. There was a little confusion with the address on the VRBO listing and getting access through the gate when we arrived, but Gloria responded quickly. The community is very nice, well maintained, quiet and gated. The view from the pool area is gorgeous! There is a fishing dock with cleaning station. The unit was very nicely decorated and clean. Underneath the unit there was a table for outdoor dining, a TV, 2 kayaks and a tricycle for use around the property. In the unit there were 2 full baths which was nice. Also had a good size washer and dryer which is a must for us when booking. There was a TV downstairs in the living room as well as upstairs in the bedroom with access to YouTube TV to watch. The complex is in a convenient location, more on the northern side of Marathon. It is about 5 minutes from Winn Dixie and Publix as well as Sombrero beach. About 10 minutes to the Seven Mile Bridge and about an hour to Key West. It is a middle unit so there are people on either side in this unit. It does not have a view from the unit, you do have to go to the pool/dock area for the view. We did need to purchase washcloths as there was only one in the unit. Overall our stay was very nice!!!!
