Panoramic View Steps from Beach - 4BD/4.5BA with Private Swimming Pool

One of the best appointed houses we’ve ever stayed in!!!! The pool was wonderful and private. So glad we got it heated. Was a fabulous thing to have in the evening, and was a great comfortable temp for the 3 year old and the two one year old grandbabies. Beds were comfortable and house was very quiet(couldn’t hear the babies cry st night!). The location is amazing! Always worried about walk to beach. even though is across the street, there are houses ocean front that have a longer walk than this house has. One porch with porch swing and heavy duty rockers. One porch with screened in dining and one porch overlooking the pool. Even the pool seating is super nice composite chairs. Kitchen was super stocked with everything you need to cook with and so stocked with plastic drink ware. Even found outlet covers and cabinet locks for child safety. Two baby gates! Hope to get to stay here again!!!

Courtney and Matthew are great host! The house was great. Very clean. They are quick to respond to your text. We were able to get in early.There were cool nights and without asking they had the pool guys come and turn the heat on to the pool. Will definitely refer their place and stay there again. Thanks so much!

Great home, great location! House was clean and we got in early which is always a plus. The check-in and check-out process was easy and smooth and the owners communication was great during the week when we had questions. We liked the house so much we already reserved it for next year.

What a wonderful home! My entire family enjoyed their stay from the moment that we walked in. The house was clean and ready for our arrival. The home owner was very helpful and accommodating to each our our needs. I cannot express enough how happy we were with this home and we would love to stay there again!

Our family of 6 adults and 2 grandchildren loved staying here. The screened in porch was a great place for outdoor meals. We enjoyed the views of the beach and the marsh from the great room, as well as the beautiful sunsets from the back deck. The kids loved the pool. The walk to the beach is very short - not much longer than oceanfront places we have stayed in the past. The beach was wide with shallow waters. The owners were quickly responsive to questions. We highly recommend and would stay here again.

This property was amazing and a great quiet location for our extended family vacation and return to our favorite beach! The proximity to the beach, views, and pool were perfect. The house had everything we needed and more. Hosts were great!

A very warm and welcoming experience at Southern Comfort! The home is perfect for family and friends, and is well maintained, along with a beautiful pool and barbecue. A nice welcoming gift package was provided, and the keyless entry made it very easy to access this lovely home. Kudos to Courtney for making our stay enjoyable. Will definitely stay here again!

The views from the home are great. You can see and hear the ocean from the porch. The living room, kitchen and dining area all very open layout. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. The bedrooms were great!The pool area was perfect for us.. great size. We are a family of 8 and the 3 year old had a blast. We used the pool every single day after the beach. Location was great. Quick walk from the house. Loved how they were stocked with beach chairs, beach toys, etc. highly recommend

Loved the location! Pool is a great to have. The house is a little tired and probably could use some maintenance and refurbishment. Wasn't a fan of the bed and towel service. Driving for 9 hours and having to make beds and strip them was a real hassle. Also, it would have been nice to have a cheat sheet about the property for things like how to use the garage (when it rains) where certain pots are for cooking (somewhat hidden under one of the cabinets), even a few restaurant suggestions. Mostly this place just needs a little more soft touch stuff for convenience sake. When you rent a home like this, you want to feel like it's turn key. Otherwise, I would have given all 5 star reviews. BTW, we are already planning a return, so don't read this review as anything but constructive criticism from a family that has rented for 30yrs!

We couldn’t have been more pleased with this rental. The description is spot on and the communication excellent. By far one of the best family vacations so far and the large private pool was a big hit! Well appointed kitchen and even had plenty of beach chairs to use while at the beach. The views are panoramic with gorgeous sunrise and sunsets.

This was the perfect spot for us to gather with our adult children. There are plenty of activities including the pool and nearby tennis courts. The home is stocked with everything you could possibly need. It has great access to the beach. We would love to vacation here again.

This beautiful home provided us with the best vacation ever! The home has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The pictures are very accurate. The pool was wonderful to have and the beach access was easy. Having three different porches made for the perfect sitting to see sunrises and sunsets. The homeowners were very responsive! We are looking forward to staying here again!

Nicely kept home and property. Beautiful views of sunsets and sunrises. Wonderful pool with plenty of chairs (there is even an outdoor half bath, something you don't usually have) and a big outdoor grill. Very close to beach access. Quiet section of the beach. Everyone in my group liked the house and would rent it again.

It was our first time visiting Holden Beach. The house was amazing. It is well stocked with pool and beach accessories, even pickleball. I spoke with a few other people on the beach and they had to bring many things that we did not. Courtney responded immediately to messages and was kind even though I was delirious after the 11 hour car ride to get there. Everything was perfect.

We love this property. It is our second time staying here and it’s perfect each time.

This was a great house for a multi-family beach week! The walk over to the beach was super easy as access is directly across the street. Note - there is no ramp, stairs only, so you do have to carry wagons, strollers, etc. up and down stairs. The home was clean and the layout worked well for multiple families. We enjoyed hanging on the screened-in porch at night. We especially loved the location of the property. The neighborhood is super quiet (no traffic) and we enjoyed strolling the kiddos for morning walks. Being at the end of the island, the beach was also not crowded, with plenty of space and room for kids to run and play. Thanks for a great week!
