Stayed Jun 29, 2025This layout was perfect, right on the golf course and walking distance to the pools and restaurants. This is our favorite resort to visit and I we will definitely book again next year:)

Stayed Jun 6, 2025This house was amazing! The location to the golf course was obviously amazing and the house had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable. Palmilla in general was so awesome. Everyone was so nice and helpful, the beach area was awesome, and we loved the pools and amenities.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Great home! Everything was pretty perfect for our stay. Close to the new resort pool, golf course, beach, etc. Only small issues that we had were dirty dishes, slow(ish) internet, and a clogged toilet upon arrival.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Upon arrival, we noticed the barn door was broken and there were shards of wood on the floor. When we started to clean up the wood, we were wiping up black dog hair and were appalled at how dirty the floors were. We quickly realized all the outlets in the kitchen were not working and the oven was also broken. We called the number provided and were told someone would be coming out to get into the garage and flip the breaker. It didn't happen. The refrigerator looked clean but smelled so badly like old shrimp/seafood that every time we opened the door, it would stink up the kitchen. There were fruit flies/gnats everywhere in the place upon arrival. Not house flies that come in when doors get opened, but fruit flies. We never found out where they were coming from. We attempted to use the gas stove to cook that evening, and once we turned on the exhaust fan, water and grease began to pour out of the vent from above. Not drip, pour. One of the grates was missing from above as well. We ended up having to cook for 6 small children and 4 adults using small appliances in the living room because no other outlets worked. Day two we called Vacasa multiple times and were told we would be getting a call back within 15 minutes. Silence. Day 3 both toilets downstairs that had been making bubbly noises were officially clogged and sewage was backing up into one of the downstairs tubs. It took an act of congress to ever get anyone on the phone. One of the managers finally showed up on day 3 and flipped the breaker and fully admitted that multiple people had dropped the ball. He also admitted that they knew the oven was broken from the previous guests but we were never alerted. He also knew about the vent hood issue and said it was a builder flaw. This place says no pets, yet there was dog hair everywhere and a half eaten dog treat in one of the downstairs rooms. I feel very bad for the owners of this place. They probably have no idea how their home is being ran by Vacasa. I was once again promised a call back now an entire week ago and have called and left two more messages for the person who promised to escalate the issue and call me back, more silence. Think twice before renting from any Vacasa property.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We recently rented a home (100 Peppervine Lane) in the Palmilla Beach Resort & Golf Community at Port Aransas for a 3-night stay. The home we rented was attractive and clean, beach access was a snap, and the amenities of the community were nice. However, we were very disappointed with the responsiveness of the property management company, Vacasa. On the second morning of our stay, we informed the on-site Vacasa rep that the electrical outlets on the kitchen counter and island were not working. The GFI would not reset, meaning the circuit breaker was apparently thrown, but we could not access the breaker box in the locked garage. In addition, the knob to operate the gas oven was missing, so we could not use the oven to prepare meals we had brought with us for our stay. The Vacasa rep said they would send someone over to check on these issues, but that never happened. We received a text from another Vecasa rep and spoke to the on-site rep two more times. We were told each time that someone would be there shortly to check on these issues. Both of these issues could have been resolved in less than 5 minutes if Vacasa had simply followed through. Vacasa definitely did not earn the fee they collect from their property owner’s rental income in this instance. If I owned a property at this resort, I would demand better service from the property management company. As for us, we will look at other properties like Cinnamon Shore just down the road before we book another stay at Palmilla Beach Resort. Upscale properties charging high-end rates shouldn’t tolerate 1-star service from the management company.
