PACIFIC BEACH Private Oasis With HEATED Pool & Jacuzzi! Newly Remodeled Superb

Everything was perfect for a family reunion. We wished there were more bedrooms so we can invite more families to stay with us. The heated pool and hot tube being salt water was definitely a BONUS. It would be great to have string lights or some lighting up on the large open space balcony. There were NO bugs or flies in the area at all which was so great. 4th of July fireworks shows is a short walk down to the beach. We will definitely go back. So glad to have found this little gem house. The owner was gracious and welcoming. Made us felt like family. Thank you !

The host greeted us upon entry and explained things which was very helpful. He was great at communicating throughout the stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the home was spotless. The beds were Very comfortable! We had 4 teenage girls celebrating graduations and 3 generations of family and we ALL loved the pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen and fire pit, which were used daily. The back yard setting is lovely! The only negative was no ping pong table as expected, but the rest of the yard and the games made up for that! The location was excellent and we could get to any of the sites easily. Thank you for a memorable trip!

We had a fantastic week long stay at Thomas's place in Mission Bay. It was the perfect location for a multi-generational family get together (ages 2- 82 a dog!). All communication was quick and easy and Thomas was even able to accomodate us with early check in. The house is very comfortable and great for families. The backyard/pool set up is ideal and we spent many hours in the pool with the kids, we especially enjoyed the box of pool toys/noodles, floats etc. Parking was very easy and the location was perfect for outings around San Diego both by bike and by car. I would highly reccomend this house and will definitely book it again next time we come to San Diego.

Tom was a gracious and trustworthy host. Great communication. He allowed us both an early check in and a late check out. The house itself is fantastic. It really feels like your own private resort. Heated pool, great hot tub, really nice outdoor grill and eating space, and gas fireplace. There are huge Lanai doors that create a great indoor/outdoor feel. Interior of the house was very clean. Can get to just about any attraction in San Diego in 20 minutes or less. I would highly recommend this rental. We had a fantastic time.

We had to pivot from our Mexico plans and booked this property at the last minute. Kid’s reviews: 10/10! I loved the roof you can walk on. It was so fun. I loved the pool! I really liked the design of the place. So much room to have fun! Adults: I loved that there were enough bathrooms for everyone. Pool is *chef’s kiss*! The fire pit was the perfect early-morning coffee corner and evening cocktail bar. This place is a little slice of San Diego heaven. Paradise found! We had an amazing vacation and made wonderful memories. Bonus was viewing the Blood Moon from the roof patio. And Tom is a delightful and helpful host. 100% would go back again.

Beautiful backyard

The pictures on VRBO looked good, but the property, in person, was way better. We were greeted by Israel, an agent of the host. He was friendly, informative, and easy to reach. He even did us the favor of driving us to Von's for initial provisions.The property was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. It was bigger than we anticipated. The common spaces were great. When we were home, we spent a lot of time on the pool deck and at the outdoor bar, but the living room was well used as well, especially after 10 pm. The only two issues we had were that the hot tub heater didn't really work as advertised, and the sink seems to be on the wrong side of the island when cooking - clearly first-world problems. Next time we go back to San Diego, we will definitely try to rent this property again.

Everything was clean and the hosts were very responsive when we had an issue with starting the jacuzzi. We had a great time. Would just like to note that if you want complete privacy, then this isnt the place for you. There is someone else living behind the garage (they didnt bother us at all) and they have cameras on the outside of the property, even in the backyard and pointing up to the top deck.

We LOVED our stay here! From the heated pool & hot tub to the fire pit & outdoor BBQ/bar (& don't forget the upper deck), the outside alone was phenomenal. The house interior was spacious and well-equipped. Combine this with a super-convenient location to attractions we wanted to see, our family thought everything was seriously top-notch. Tom put a lot of thought into making his home a guest paradise! Five-plus stars!

A wonderful place for a nice family get away. The out door space is truly spectacular. You could almost just stay in the out door living space. The house itself was very nice and comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

Everything about our stay exceeded my expectations! The house was perfect, the beds were comfortable, and we loved that we each had our own bathroom. The heated pool was amazing to keep the kids busy on the colder days. Our stay felt magical and relaxing and we are already planning our return trip! Stayed at the property for 4 days with 4 couples and had an excellent stay. The house is gorgeous, clean and very well equipped! The pool is warm, outdoor living area is fantastic and sliding doors in the living room open the house to the outdoors. Tom, the host is excellent to communicate with and we would definitely stay here again!

We chose this property for our annual family vacation, consisting of myself, my husband, and 3 year old son, my parents, and sister and her husband and 10 year old daughter. This was an amazing place to stay due to its size, allowing for everyone to have their own rooms/bathrooms, a spacious/cozy kitchen and living room, and a heated pool and jacuzzi that we used each night. This property was very clean, well maintained, and stocked with essentials like towels, soap, kitchen and bbq supplies, blankets, etc. The property management (a husband and wife) were very nice and accommodating to our requests. I would 100% recommend this property and would love to stay here again in the future!

What a great place for a family vacation! All of us (8 adults and our 1 1/2 year old granddaughter) loved the house. Plenty of room for everyone, it was stocked with all the supplies we needed, beautiful out door space and a great location. Tom was so nice, he was gracious enough to let us check in early and had the travel crib already set up. There was also a high chair provided. Tom greeted us when we arrived and was easy to reach with any questions. The house was a relaxing oasis to come back to after exploring the area. I highly recommend and would love to book again.

We had a fantastic time staying in Tom's house for a week. It was three families with kids ranging from 3-6 years old. The house was comfortable with lots of space to spend time together inside and out. The location was very convenient to all that we wanted to do in San Diego whether the zoo and Sea World or hanging out at Pacific Beach. Also, Tom was an excellent host. There was easy communication, great restaurant suggestions, and help if needed throughout the week.

We stayed for 5 glorious days at this property. Tom allowed us to have an early check-in and was there to meet us when we arrived. He explained how everything worked and answered any questions we had. This house had everything imaginable that you could need. The pool and hot tub were amazing and we spent countless hours outside. I cannot recommend this property enough! 10/10

The property was wonderful and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was very nice to have the great room opened up to outside. Truly a resort like experience. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen too, and we were able to host a lovely family dinner.

Our stay began with our group being greeted by Tom upon our arrival where he then briefly walked us through the property, highlighting all of its amenities and gave us directions on how to use the spa/pool heat, etc. Once he left us to settle in we started to notice that things weren't very clean...like at all. From missing some very obvious and basic dusting and cobweb removal, to some more concerning items, like small piles of garbage and debris left under the vanity, or the soap scum and mildew covered shower curtain liner, to the broken bottle type of frozen contents remaining in the freezer, or dirt stained carpeting in the main bedroom, or that odd stain on the sofa and it's near twin on the headboard. For a $300 cleaning fee per stay I would have expected things to be quite a bit tidier and less college dorm room. Then there were the random things that were in disrepair, such as the inoperable fireplace, or the pull out sofa that was missing a handful of springs. Some TLC and putting oneself in the guests shoes would go a long way in getting this place back to being respectable and enjoyable for one's stay. Until then, vacationer beware.

This home was perfect for our Couples Retreat. We enjoyed hanging out around the fire pit in the evenings, pool time through the afternoons and cooked a couple of meals in the well stocked kitchen. We were close to good walking areas and dinner options. We would highly recommend.

Tom’s home was immaculate. I arrived with eight of my best friends for a girls trip. We all were very comfortable during the duration of our trip. Plenty of pots, pans, towels, etc. Tom had everything for us. We are grateful to have had a great trip. Thank you Tom!! I can’t wait to visit again!
