Ozona Waterfront Mermaid House

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mermaid House! The property was exactly as described, which made everything feel easy and stress-free from the start. We spent so much time fishing right off the dock, and having access to the kayaks to explore the bayou was such a fun bonus. The area was peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect getaway for our family to relax and enjoy time together. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a laid-back, family-friendly escape!

Host was extremely communicative and allowed us to check in early. Wonderful location with plenty of things to do around the house. Very clean. Highly recommend!

The house appeared to be clean on arrival. However, the crockery, glassware, and silverware were all dirty.The dishwasher needed a good cleaning and the pods were old and solidified.The BBQ is dirty and rusty and could not be used.The linen on the master bed had not been changed from the previous guests visit.One of the bathrooms is in the garage, and there was a collection of hair in the shower drain. The windows and blinds are in a sad condition. The host refunded the cleaning fee but it would have been better to have a clean place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and also safe for walking. Food options nearby where locals eat and we enjoyed. We would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay!! The property was clean, nice and quiet! You can tell this property is very well maintained! We had everything we needed plus some! Easy access out to the gulf with so many beautiful places to explore by boat! We definitely will be booking again!

We stayed 4 days. The little town of Ozona was super cute, was able to walk up to the little restaurants and to the marina to watch the sunset. It was our first time visiting Dunedin and Palm Harbor . The house is just as described . The sun room was our favorite part . Having laundry was extra helpful . We absolutely fell in love with the view of the bayou and the Florida room for morning coffee. With the location walkable from the restaurants in Ozona, this is a fantastic find.

Cute waterfront home in the adorable town of Ozona. Close to downtown Palm Harbor and Tarpon Springs sponge docks.. Plenty to do and see. Close to the Pinellas Trail, breweries, and fantastic restaurants.

Property owners were excellent in correspondence when needed. Definitely a do over, tons of stuff left to do.
