Stayed Jul 26, 2025This is such a great place! It was so cute and had everything we wanted. It is close to Short Sands, has a great back deck, comfortable beds, an awesome enclosed front porch (with AC!), and was perfect for our family of 4. The owner was wonderful to deal with, and the caretaker who gave us a tour on arrival was so helpful and kind (we had no issues, but I have no doubt she would have been there in a heartbeat if we had). You cannot go wrong booking this location!

Stayed Jun 5, 2025Not the best weather during our stay but we still found plenty to do! - one gray beach day, Funorama excursion, Goldenrods for lunch, ice cream and taffy! A walk around town - sorry to find the park and zoo closed. I am a writer and used this as a writing retreat. Got some good work done! One downside - a lobster roll is 38!

Stayed Jul 13, 2024The house is just as pictured, clean, well stocked with everything you may need, including nice beach chairs. The central a/c was awesome for the hot days. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Stayed Jul 27, 2024Overlook 1 property was perfect for our family of four. The location was wonderful, just a short walk to short sands village which was perfect for the pre teens. My personal favorite spot was the porch with the small view of the ocean and breeze. The only down fall was the cleanliness. There was food and sand on the bunk beds and food stuck to the bedspreads. There was also so much dust dirt under the beds.
