Outstanding Victoria location in beautiful Cadboro Bay

Such a great place to stay, and with caring and helpful hosts close by. Will recommend to my friends and hope to come back one day.

This was a great little place, super clean and friendly and easy access with our car to everything Victoria had to offer.

A good option if you're not using the sofa bed and staying just for one or 2 nights. Well maintained and a place with lots of character. The garden is beautiful.

The location right next to UVic was perfect for us. It is an easy walk down the hill to Cadboro Bay, the beach, grocery store, cafe, and a nice restaurant (Thai Lemongrass). Be aware that this is a basement suite. It was clean and quiet, nicely finished with a well equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed. Good value for a reasonable price. We would stay here again. The location was great it was near the university and near the beach. The place is very tastefully decorated, welcoming and comfortable. The outside sitting area is a lovely added touch. It is very quiet and private and I would highly recommend it. The hosts are easy to communicate with and respond in a timely manner.

This was a fantastic location for us. We were able to walk to UVic and down to the village for supplies. The suite was very well-appointed and clean. Barry communicated quickly and was very helpful. We would highly recommend this location!

Nice sitting area in the garden.Easy to locate property. Lots of walking trails close by. Beach area and great local playground for our grand-kids nearby. Plenty of bus options even though we didn't need them. Good binder with local information in the suite.

Everything we needed in the kitchen & bathroom. Very comfortable. Host communicated very well. I do think the approach to the entrance door around back could be made a little safer by installing railings on the front steps...not super friendly for folks with mobility limitations.

The space was great for us. We were comfortable as a family of 5. The road construction is a bit of an inconvenience but overall the place was good.

Property was very convenient to our daughters wedding venue. Kitchen was very helpful for prepping for multiple events. Barry is a gracious host and very accommodating. Suite is located in the back and below the house pictured.

Barry was a great host. Theres obstructive construction in front of their house so he met me at a close location and led me home. The apartment and gardens are quite nice. Its a bit of a chore getting things from the car down to the apartment and back but otherwise a wonderful stay.

Ideal location for Uvic, and easy to get into the city. Nice to have space to work remotely, relax, sleep comfortably in our own rooms, and self-cater a few meals.

The property is a basement flat of the main house with its own private entrance from the side and access to the lovely garden. It was comfortable, cosy and quiet. The area is beautiful and we appreciated the shops and restaurants and the bottom of the road. It's a great location for exploring and the owner was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely and comfortable suite that accommodates a family in a great neighborhood, near beach and restraurants. There is an outdoor patio where you can sit and relax. Barry was a good communicator.

We enjoyed our stay, it was clean and very comfortable. I did have a little problem navigating the pathway down to the suite but all was good.Linda

Excellent location and space for families. The hosts were fantastic and accommodating. The only concern was the road construction right out front that made it a little challenging to maneuver.

We loved to come back to this little home after our daily outings. A short drive to the common tourist locations but also a perfect local playground and beach just minutes down the road. Our mornings and evenings were as peaceful as they could be with four kiddos. We took advantage of the boardgames in the home too and had lots of family fun!

Located in a beautiful area this place is quaint and close to shops. Barry was super communicative and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

The suite is cosy, quiet and well equipped. I recommend it if you want to be near UVIC and the beach.

The suite is very cute and cozy! The only complaint I have is that one of the bedrooms is listed as very private--however, the two bedrooms share a window that has been covered with wood. As a result, our littlest guy could easily be heard by our teens in the bedroom next to us--waking them up earlier than preferred--which didn't feel as private as we'd hoped. Otherwise it was lovely! So many great books there, beautiful location, and responsive and kind hosts. The fireplace is gorgeous, too.

This is a clean, tidy, cozy suite very well located, near Cadboro Bay. The owner/manager was very kind, responsive and accommodating. The suite has a great little kitchenette but lacks a table and chairs to eat at (there's no room). I would definitely rent again!

We had a wonderful two-day stay at this property! It was exceptionally clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The privacy was excellent, and Barry and Jane were incredibly considerate and easy to communicate with. Their attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free getaway!

Overall we really like this place and it worked perfectly for the three of us. The parking was very tight and we were really glad we had a small carr truck

This place was perfect for my UVIC student daughter and I. We enjoyed this wonderful apartment. We enjoyed baking cookies and watching Christmas movie by the fire place. She could walked across the street to go to school. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to cook. Would love to come back again soon

The accommodation was very quaint. It is a basement walk out suite. Cozy and clean. Rustic furniture. The issue I had was getting my luggage into the suite as you go around the side and it is dirt and soil. Therefore, I had to carry my luggage for about 20 ft. I also had to ensure my shoes were clean and had to wash them as it rained for a day and it soiled my shoes. The upstairs (to the owners living area) is separated by a curtain. However, overall it was nice. Very convenient to UVIC. I didn't have to pay for parking.

Our family felt right at home at this cozy cottage. The space is welcoming and clean. We especially love the close proximity to the Cadboro-Gyro Park. Thank you Barry and Jane for hosting us!
