The home's living space is on one level and has three bedrooms and two full baths with an open living area.
The driveway is a bit steep to the two car garage but certainly manageable for any vehicle and one can also choose to park on the small drive in front of the house.
This is the second time I've stayed at this house. The location is great and it has such a beautiful view. It's a nice, quiet neighborhood. The house is cosy and comfortable. We had a wonderful time there!
After I took time to email her that the dishwasher wasn't ran because she was out of dishwasher soap, she emailed me saying I wadded up the sheets which it is not allowed. Instructions said to turn down all used beds which is very confusing as no one thinks about making the beds after using a VRBO. Her instructions need to be more explicit if she doesn't want the beds stripped down as that is what most people think to do as the logical thing is to wash the sheets for re-use. Then she proceeded to tell me she would use the pictures to instruct what not to do. She was extremely rude and I didn't appreciate her comments. I was very disappointed with her. Most hosts would be thankful and appreciative we went over and beyond to stripping off the beds but she was upset about it and made our check out experience a bad one. Instructions should clearly be changed if she doesn't want beds to be stripped as that will be what most people do. A simple Don't stirp off beds should do.
The house is great and very clean. Yes the driveway is steep but it IS the mountains! The kitchen is well stocked with plates, cup, utensils, cookware, etc. The back porch is also a great feature! Check-in/check-out was a breeze. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to visit the beautiful town of Saluda. Thank you to the Hosts!
The house is very clean and has a good location for visiting Saluda. It is well appointed but could use new mattresses. There is a nice porch to enjoy morning coffee. It is tastefully decorated with games, fireplace and tv. The biggest challenge is the driveway. You must not use the upper drive unless you have a small car and can turn around. This is unfortunate as you can’t unload your car to the main floor. You must drive to the bottom of the steep drive and unload your car by entering the basement and climbing the stairs. This will not be a problem if you are capable.
Really enjoyed this place, lots of room, nice view and nice locations
It’s a cute house and well kept. But beds were uncomfortable. And no courtesy coffee for us.
This home is a beautiful home located on a pretty piece of property. The home is large and loaded with amenities. The location is close to the cute town of Saluda. The only downside is the very steep driveway. The driveway is also hard to maneuver. All in all a pleasant stay!
Loved our stay. House was as represented and clean as a pin. We had only one question for Heather and she was quick to respond. Good WiFi. Tons of room to relax or chill with a good book or play some board games both of which are there. Charming inside and out. Neighborhood is well kept and plenty of privacy. We love that we are only a couple of minutes from downtown. Driveway is no problem but with a full size pickup we opted to back down the drive after pulling just past the mail box from the upper side of the Rd. If you plan to cook, there is a well stock market/butcher on main street but they close early. Kudos to H20 Dreams Paddling School for their excellent instruction. We'll be back!
Us 4 girls had a wonderful time staying at this property. It was clean, comfortable and the view from the sunroom was like being in a treehouse. The house is decorated with beautiful touches in every corner. We had a great time exploring Saluda, Pearson Falls and the Hendersonville area. Everything we needed was close by. We were a little nervous about the driveways but it just made our stay a little more adventurous. Just a couple of 3 point turns and you can drive right out. We are looking forward to getting together again next year and would love to stay here again. Thanks so much. Vicki, Diane, Judy, and Sandra
This was our 2nd time staying here because we love the home and area so much. Relaxing porch, spacious yard for the kids to have fun, and walkable to downtown.
Clean, nice, great location
We really liked this house. It felt in every way like a well loved home. It was very clean, thoughtfully well kept, cozy and appealing. The driveway is tricky because it’s a bit steep but not a problem for us.
The house was perfect for our group of 4. Very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Convenient location, as we ventured out to Hendersonville, Ashville, Black Mountain and Tryon. We then relaxed on the beautiful screened back porch and in front of the fireplace. The neighborhood is beautiful and we were greeted by several friendly neighbors. A wonderful experience!
Nice place to stay.
We spent our fall break picking apples, hiking waterfalls and relaxing. This house was a perfectly located and a perfect getaway. The house was well appointed and The hostess was more than accommodating. We will definitely be back!
What a great house! Everything was perfect from the furnishings, location and communication with the owner. We plan to stay here again soon.
Beautiful place on a very quiet neighborhood, great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors
Perfect getaway & host. Steep driveway but manageable. Very clean and property as described. Thanks
Excellent stay! Very clean. Huge supply of towels. Loved the sun porch with seating and bed. I bet that would be wonderful in the fall months!
This is a very comfortable house in a great location. It is very well equipped - there was literally everything you may need for a nice stay. We had trouble on the first day with the shower and the owner was very responsive and dealt with the matter right away. We will definitely rent it again when we are in Saluda!
The house was perfect for me and my family We were four adults and one 2.5 yr old grandaughter. The house is well equipped and comfortable. There were a couple of swings outside -good for children. There is a park nearby with a children's playground in downtown Saluda which we drove to in about 5 mins. It could also be walked to but might take awhile. The neighbourhood is picturesque. There are lots of other amenities. Some of our family enjoyed taking a trip down the Broad River.
Highly recommend! Host and house were very nice.
