Our happy place was exceptional! Ideal location, comfortable, clean, and plenty to do for the kids. I highly recommend this stay and hope to come again.

This beach house is aptly named Our Happy Place. The home was comfy, well stocked, and mere feet from the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

October is our favorite time at the beach. We usually pick a different dog friendly place each year. Clint's place is now our favorite and we haven't stayed anywhere that we liked better than Our Happy Place. The view is just as good as ocean front. The screened in porch is where we stayed most of the time. All the beds were comfortable and the living room furniture was comfortable as well. The beach access was really close by. This place has everything we needed and more. We are already planning our next trip here. Thanks Clint for being the best host ever!!

Great view of the ocean and beach and was truly as good as oceanfront. The screened-in porch and bikes were a hit. A lovely, quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors.

The house was in a perfect location. It was clean but could use some TLC. The bathroom off the master is the tiniest I’ve ever seen and I wasn’t comfortable in the shower, but I was able to use the nice big shower in the other bathroom. The owner was so easy to communicate with.

I love Topsail Beach! Nice home and fenced yard as I have little dogs! Easy access to the beach across the street. Comfortable home with a large tv in family room that I could easily operate! Had to reach out a couple of times and had a quick response and resolution! my car never left the driveway:)

Comfortable, well stocked, clean home with great ocean views. Quaint screened in porch area that is perfect for sipping coffee in the morning, or watching it rain in the afternoons. It was truly a wonderful visit.

This was our 2nd stay at this property and we absolutely love the location, beach, and Surf City vibe. Enjoying our morning coffee while watching the sunrise from the beach or front porch is the perfect start to the day. The beach and ocean are easily accessed and perfect for families. The kitchen and grilling amemities made eating in a breeze. Access to the fenced in back yard is a big plus for those of us that travel with our fur baby. The host is very accommodating and his communications are prompt. We thoroughly enjoy vacationing at Our Happy Place!

We visit Topsail every year to see family. The location was excellent. It was close to everything. Great communication with home owner.

Lovely home! Clean and cozy! Much larger than you’d expect. Decks are great. Backyard for dogs is super convenient. The game/storage room has everything you and the kids could possible need. Also really sweet neighbors!

Everything was as advertised. It truly is a happy place. The views of the water can’t be beat! The beach is so much better than public surf city beach, much nicer sand and not crowded. Easy walk caddy corner from the home.The home has everything you could need, including beach chairs, boggie boards and sand toys. The table games were a hit too. Our dogs loved the fenced yard.Clint was a pleasure to work with. Definitely a 5 star stay! We’ll be back!

So close to the beach and a good sized fenced backyard was perfect for the pups! Clint was an excellent host and we had a great team.

As with our last vist this home is a lovely place to relax and step away from our daily routines.

This was our second stay at Our Happy Place. We had such a great time spending Christmas at Clint’s place. Check in was a breeze and he was so flexible on checking in early and checking out late. We spent the majority of our time on the front deck that overlooks the ocean. The kitchen is fully stocked, beds are comfy and the backyard is a plus! Will definitely be booking again :)

We got together with our daughter and SIL Staff Sgt Hutton USAF to have a family outing before he transfers out to Las Vegas, NV. We got to spend quality time with our granddaughter Embry Rae! This place was spot on from the listing and Mr. Clint kept us informed from our booking to arrival! The weather was a little on the chilly side but a chilly day at the beach is better than any day at work! Definitely recommend Our Happy Place, we loved it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Surf City. The home was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the storm out on the ocean our first night and the full moon rise the second night. The kitchen is well stocked and where we made some delicious meals. We hope to return soon.

Everything was as advertised. The screened in porch overlooking the ocean was a favorite place for morning coffee and meals with the family. The house was well furnished, clean and very comfortable with everything available that we needed. The host was responsive to questions. I would highly recommend this place. It is a “ Happy Place,” indeed!

We booked months in advance. We had no idea our stay would be interrupted by a tropical storm. The host and hostess stayed in contact throughout our visit to make sure we were comfortable and educated on local resources. The home was well stocked for rain day events and everything beach!!! We had a wonderful time! Thank you for making your happy place our happiest of family Vacations!!!

The house was exactly as advertised. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking and bedrooms had plenty of pillows and extra blankets. The beach toys and chairs were amazing! Sooooo many to choose from and they were good quality. Fenced yard was perfect for the dogs!

Where to begin? The beds are comfortable, even the bunk beds. MANY nice sitting areas (2 porches, 3 areas outside, living room, dining area, playroom/basement). TV system is modern and easy to use. Outside shower has been updated. Kitchen has almost very tool we needed. New refrigerator. Beach gear/toys galore. Five bikes. Air conditioner is sublime! PERFECT LOCATION! This was our third visit, and we hope it isn’t our last. We absolutely love Our Happy Place.
