Great house, well appointed, comfortable beds and spacious. Hot water was tepid and a slight crawling insect problem. On the whole, we were very happy.

Loved being on the water. Great size home. NEEDS : more dishes as 10 people can stay but doesnt cater for them . And the bed configuration is different to website.

All in all, we had a great stay at this house, the location is great, and the house itself is well laid out for a family to use.The only down fall was some of the furniture definitely needs an upgrade, beds mainly. It says it sleeps 10 people, however there were only 4 x coffee cups and the cutlery was fairly minimal. cleanliness was generally pretty good, but whoever used it last had left the BBQ in an absolute mess, and it hadn't been cleaned. All fairly minor details but just a few things that could be fixed up. Still a great time was had and for the price i would book again.

Overall clean and modern spacious and large alfrescoKitchen minimal crockery and cutlery options minimal appliances. Some complaints about the mattresses comfort wise but were clean and newishMinimal communication

Im giving this property 2 stars. House location and cleanliness at the time of our arrival 5 outta 5 Thats about where it stops. Communication a very generous 1/5 very poor from beginning to end (have tried to contact via email and text multiple times only got one reply months after initial contact)House needs looking after this is clearly just a cash grab! They need to put some cash into maintaining the property. Master bed was broken - should have been obvious as there was a large V dip in the bed upon arrival. We had to go to mitre 10 to buy supplies to fix it so we were able to sleep. On the last night one of the single beds broke also. I also advised politely of a issue with a consistently leaking tap but maybe their water bill payments are high which is why the beds are all broken! No gas available for the BBQ so we filled up a bottle and send the receipt for the gas to the owner as noted in the property handbook along with mitre 10 receipts and bank details for reimbursement. This was 6 weeks ago guess its too early in my enquiry to expect a response

We were delighted when we entered the home. Spacious, immaculate, lovely views of the marinas, well equipped with everything we could have wanted and more. It is well located, easy to find when you enter Exmouth and close to the town centre.

Property is very spacious, nice area, very convenient. Host never responded or sent any check in instructions we literally had to search for the key and guess the code?! Very poor communication. All appliances, were not clean. Grease odors from pots and frying appliances. Kettle & coffee maker were incomplete or damaged or inoperable. The washer sprayed water all over the laundry room which required cleaning up constantly. Trash in all drawers and under the beds. Furniture was dirty as well. Not even a clean sponge in kitchen. Very disappointing condition overall. In addition a power outage on one of days out had to throw out all food and fish. We had to make the best of it as this was a trip of a lifetime to the area.

Positives first. Fantastic location and lovely house with facilities as advertised. Negatives:No communication from owner. We received no check in info and was lucky enough to find a lock box once we started to walk around the house and lucky to manage to open it to find keys inside. We then found the front door lock falling off the door and had great difficulty using the lock until we fixed it ourselves. Inside were found a clean house but found dirty dishes stashed in the cupboard left by previous visitors. The kettle and coffee machines are unusable. We booked for 10 but we’re only supplied with towels for 8 guests. The washing machine pipe was completely cracked through causing a flood each time we used it. Water spraying over the floor flooding the toilet, laundry and passage. The back door and sliding doors did not lock and that had to be adjusted to lock. The bed in the main bedroom was purely strutted but 4x cut off planks that fell down with even the slightest of movement on the bed. This meant the bed was horrible. We had to get in under the bed through the night to replace the struts but after 2 nights of doing this we decided to sleep with the mattress on the floor. All of this was reported to the owner but after more than 2 weeks we are yet to get a reply from them. In conclusion, lovely property in a great location but it is not getting looked after. At the price it costs per night it is not worth the hassle. The owner/manager clearly does not care!

Great time in a lovely house. Thank you. Just for the heads up, there are a couple of things that need attention in the house. The front door lock mechanism needs attention as the screws are loose. Also the head of the shower in the bathroom is full of corrosion and needs replacing.

House was awesome, location amazin. If I wanted to be picky the following is what I picked on but otherwise was a great stay. -we did state there was 9 of us but only 8 towels were provided. -States coffee machine but unusable as was filthy and had to descale but didn’t help. -Also says ice maker but these are only trays in the freezer. May of had one before but not now. - bbq rusty so we didn’t use- outdoor table was filthy - messaged and tried calling host to find out about keys and not one response. Only by chance we found what we needed. On a positive there was plenty of appliances to use for bigger family included large electric fry pan and airfryer.

We had a great stay. House was clean and functional. Location is amazing with access to the marina canals. House is well kitted out with lots of cooking utensils and appliances. Will definitely book again. Thank you.

The property is located at the end of the canal and is quiet and very relaxing, Tte house is spacious with good sized bedrooms and an awesome large deck, so lots of room for all. The only downside not enough plates, cutlery and the pots and pans were damaged, so communication with the owner did take a while. The lights in the fans were not working and some problems with plumbing which was fixed. Hopefully the owner can be on top of these small issues

Cockroaches, cockroaches and more cockroaches. We killed over 300 baby roaches, mostly around the dishwasher and fridge. Infestation would be the correct terminology. We had to buy baits to place in the kitchen area. Other issues were that the fat drain on the barbeque was overflowing so we had to clean that out. In the ensuite to bathroom, the plug is broken in the sink so water drains out very slowly. Many of the towel racks and toilet roll holders need to be tightened. Missing pieces from light in 3rd bedroom and main bedroom light was broken. Leak in the laundry as well. The house also needs more plates, cutlery and glasses. Overall the house is well designed however the person who is running the property is not meeting the expectations for the cost of the property. If you are going to charge money for accommodation the very least you could do would be to answer any questions the prospective tenant has. Overall if the owner lifted their game this would be a great place to stay.
