Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay in the yurt. It was beautiful and well furnished. There was the occasional critter inside but that’s to be expected. The train noise wasn’t bad and there were earplugs and a noise machine provided. We didn’t need the earplugs. It’s close to everything in Gruene and New Braunfels and we would definitely stay again.

Reviewer Comments: Good evening, we wanted to reach out with some concerns for this facility. We booked our stay for 3 nights and tonight, Saturday 11/30/24 would've been our last night there. However we could not stay the night. We actually left around 1:45pm. The inside of the Yurt was great, comfy bed, nice hot water and overall pretty nice. The problem came with all the spider webs and dead bugs hanging in several places inside the Yurt. The biggest problem was the stench of mold inside the Yurt and the whole outside of all the Yurts being covered in BLACK MOLD!!!!! That part is unacceptable. We have Auto Immune issues already and after 2 nights of stay we couldn't take it anymore due to our sensitivity to Mold... my husband started having problems breathing which only happens when there's a bunch of mold around, again unacceptable!!!!!! And the door to the Yurt is so hard to open and close, it hangs and also the instructions for the door locks are backwards. Regardless as much as we looked forward to having our 4 year anniversary trip we had to cut it short. I have plenty of pictures of the mold if you need them but I believe a refund for one night is in order. If you have any questions please feel free to call us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great time!! Celebrated our 27th Wedding Anniversary with a weekend getaway. Excellent stay at the Longhorn Yurt. Very comfortable. Minutes aways from Gruene and New Braunfels, Tx. Spent daytime enjoying the sites and scenery around Gruene. We went to Gruene Hall on Friday and Saturday for some live music shows. We also did a day trip to Winberley, Tx. More great shopping!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was very pleased with the Yurt. It was clean and comfortable. Thought it was nice they had eye masks and ear plugs on the night stand. They came in handy when the trains came through all night. That was a surprise but thankful for the ear plugs. Would stay there again despite the trains. Location was convenient. Property was pretty clean. They could cut the weeds down at this point. But the walking paths to the yurt were nice and lit. The management company was great and communicated efficiently and timely.

The only issue we had that we were not prepared for was the train that was close by and went by all night. Earplugs are recommended otherwise 10/10.
