Osprey Luxury Clifftop Retreat with Ocean Views in Sapphire Beach

This place is very well located. It is a short walk down to the beach to go for a swim or fishing. Or use the pool if you dont want to play in the sand ;). House is well situated high on the headland, with pride of place on the corner point so we can see out across the beach as well as the Eastern Ocean. We were very fortunate to see many whales pass by each day - breaching and playing. Absolutely awesome to see. And Dolphins playing amongst the surf!The house is well fitted. The kitchen has all you need for a gourmet chef. There is one king-bed sized room downstairs on main floor with ensuite, another bedroom and a separate toilet room for guests as main lounge is downstairs too. The main living room is fairly comfortable and there are two bluetooth speakers to take advantage off for the music enthusiasts. Outdoor lounges are comfortable by the pool and there is an undercover BBQ area.The only downside to this lovely place is that there is only one main indoor living area with one TV. There is a master bedroom upstairs with a great view of the ocean (with small balcony) and two other bedrooms. No additional family/living rooms, therefore if you have multiple guests or kids, you all need to share the one area which may be an issue on rainy days. (think about the noise factor for all).Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thanks

5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms deceiving….really 2 suites with ensuites, 2 small twins with share bathroom, 1 single with shower/toilet across the entrance…actually guest toilet.NOT suitable for 3 couples and 2 singles, especially in our case when 2 of the guests had mobility issues. -why didn’t we know about the sleeping arrangements until we got access to the building…??? When contacted the week before our visit, Coffs Coast Accommodation representative told me that the floor plan was not included in the information for guests…..prior information would have saved the irritation & angst experienced on arrival.Living areas excellent. Stove, dryer, bbq not in gd condition.Pool, sea birds & view all enjoyed.Management could do better. Lots of messages, but disappointing when contacted.

It was very disappointing single beds in most of the bedrooms, air-conditioning only in two bedrooms. There was only one fridge. Lawn maintenance personal showed whilst we were there. Rubbish bins were half full on arrival.
