Open plan country home ideal for restful getaways

The house is absolutely stunning! An incredible space, designed and decorated so beautifully. With the most incredible garden and views out the back. We went for a quiet weekend and this is just the kind of place to be. So peaceful. Surrounded by nature. And pubs and shops in easy reach if needed but also perfect to just hunker down and enjoy the place. All the bedrooms were spacious, good bathrooms, comfy beds. And a brilliant, well equipped kitchen. With two dining areas and three sitting room areas, you’ve got plenty of choice for where you spend your time. We went in October when the swimming pool is cooler, but it’s a good sized pool and a good depth.

Wonderful property with everything you could need for an excellent stay. The pool and grounds are spectacular and the games room an added bonus. The beds are all very comfortable and the options for dining and sitting superb!

Beautiful house in a picturesque area. Perfect house to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday weekend surrounded by his family from all over the country. Great Games Room and lovely accommodation throughout. Lots of walking routes nearby and two very nice pubs. The Flyford and The Boot (recommend the Sunday Roast). Good communication with the owners and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

As we entered this beautiful home, and saw the gorgeous garden and distant views, our instant reaction was WOW! The house is brilliantly designed, spacious, and supremely comfortable. The owners have generously provided everything for their guests’ enjoyment. We had great fun in the pool (which has a sliding ‘roof’), and enjoyed the barbecue and fire pit in the evening. Table tennis and the pool table in the basement were great for all-age entertainment. The overall atmosphere is of a much-loved family home, and we were so grateful to be able to stay here. .

What a beautiful property. Had such a wonderful week with our family in this peaceful part of the countryside. Cant wait to come back.

This property did not disappoint. Beautiful setting, amazing house and stunning grounds. Great mix of fun and relaxation. Would highly recommend to others looking to have a similar stay away.

Perfect large group accommodation couldn’t fault anything. Well equipped kitchen. Gorgeous gardens and open views. Can recommend The Dolphin pub for excellent roast.

Beautiful house in wonderful settings. We wanted a staycation that we could relax, spend time together and recharge our batteries and we got exactly that! Perfect place to stay with fantastic gardens and walks even in Feb. Would highly recommend. The games room brought hours of fun and the views from the rear of the house are completely uninterrupted countryside. We can not wait to go back!
