On the Beach Retreat, Pool, Jacuzzi, “where memories are made that last forever”

Rosemont is not a modern glitzy beachside villa. It’s a classic Florida beach house with a focus on options for play, dining in or out, and beds for sleeping. It was the perfect vacation home for our extended family of twelve. Enough beds for everyone, modern fully equipped kitchen, huge table to gather around overlooking the beach and a beautiful pool. Our amazing hosts Al and Mary Balloqui met us upon arrival, showing us around the property, explaining operations, and providing advice on nearby dining and entertainment options. They quickly took care of any issues, and showed us in so many ways how much they wanted us to have a great time.

This property is an oasis that makes you feel like you are in paradise. The separate apartment above the garage is spectacular with amazing sunrise views. The pool also has a wonderful view of the ocean and was delightful for afternoons after spending mornings on the beach. Dining in the evenings after fixing a nice dinner in the updated kitchen provided a respite from the sun with a fabulous view of the beach and ocean. If you treasure a water view, this is your place.

We LOVED The Rose Retreat! Our Family had plenty of space and room to enjoy the beach and the pool! The kitchen was well equipped and there are SO MANY pool/beach toys to choose from! Mary and Al were kind and generous hosts!

Our week at Rose Retreat was exactly what our family of 12 needed to rest, relax, laugh and just be together. We had plenty of room to roam and the kids play. The property was set up nicely to allow back and forth to the beach, swim and have lots of yard space for the the kids to run and play hide and seek all week. The owners were very responsive and attentive. They have made a nice homey space for all to enjoy. We enjoyed Hulls Seafood, Riptides, Hershey's Ice Cream, Pirates Cove Golf Adventure, Rose Villa Restaurant and of course Tipsy Taco right across the street. Although it didn't deter us at all, we didn't like cars being allowed on the beach. With small kids, this was something we weren't expecting to have to watch for all of the time. Also, go our early and set up your beach space or locals park right in front of the house. Great place for a big family. Would highly recommend.

House a bit outdated but the location more than made up for it. We enjoyed our family vacation.

We recently had the pleasure of staying in this charming beach home, built in 1947, for our family vacation with 11 people. The home consisted of a main house with 4 bedrooms and an apartment over a detached garage, which was just perfect for our group. The pictures showing the history of the home were a fun addition that gave the property a unique and nostalgic charm. One of the standout features of the property was the private pool, which offered a refreshing retreat after our beach days. Speaking of the beach, the home’s location was unbeatable – directly on the beach, allowing us to enjoy the ocean view and easy access to the sand and surf. The owners, Mary and Al, provided exceptional service. They met us at the property during check-in to show us around and ensure we had everything we needed. Throughout our stay, they checked in a few times to see if we required anything else and to remind us of important details like trash day. Our entire group had an amazing time, and we can't wait to visit this beautiful property again. Highly recommend!

We loved staying at the Rose Retreat for our family beach week. Al and Mary were perfect hosts, great communicators and thought of every detail. The gourmet kitchen is totally renovated and had plenty of dishes, cookware, utensils to cook with and serve a large group, coffee maker, tea kettle, blender. The bedrooms were large, super comfy beds and pillows, soft cozy linens. Air conditioning was great. Plenty of bathrooms and an apartment over the garage for our cousins. One of the reasons we originally chose RR is the certified handicap bedroom and bath for Grammy and Poppy. Perfect! One of the cleanest properties we've stayed at both inside and out. We all enjoyed the outside table and the pool. Unlike other properties the pool is serviced twice during our visit. The landscaping and location of the house was very private. We called it the compound! The house was built in 1940...very nostalgic with all the old photos. Had the feeling we were on Cape Cod. Bathrooms had the retro tile but with modern features. Al put new windows in. Couldn't hear traffic, motorcycles, anything. Two different laundry facilities for beach towels and clothes. I miss sitting by the porch window in the morning drinking my coffee and looking for dolphins. Guess we'll just have to come back next year!

Worked out ok… pool was a life saver as weather was a bit sketchy..

We had a multigenerational group of 11 people (23 - 72 yrs old) and had the most amazing stay at Rose Retreat! Communication with Al and Mary was great. The house and suite were clean. Our favorite part of it was all the different gathering places inside the home. Plenty of space for everyone. Thank you for everything!

The house on the beach was great. We took advantage of the winter deal. That made up for a few of the shortcomings of an older property. The house is full of nostalgic charm. The sound of the ocean at night was an amazing way to fall asleep. I think a few maintenance upgrades and this place would be perfect. Al was great to Deal with. Not sure if the fee to heat the pool was worth it. It was pretty cold to be honest. But you can’t have it all. I would recommend this place solely for the location in the beach. There were 4 is us guys down there for the Rolex race and it fit our needs. You never know unless you try. Thanks Al for the place. It added to our great weekend.
