It was a great house for our family to stay. Lots of room, reasonably priced, nice big kitchen table for our family card playing. Beds were comfy, the house was very clean. Check in and check out across the street at Quality Inn was convenient. We will stay here again.

Really cute house and ideal for 2 couples; short walk to the ferry to Victoria; right down the street from a Safeway grocery store; quick breakfast right across the street included; was able to park right in front of the house.

The location is good, near many restaurants and the harbor. The property is part of Quality Inn, it offers some very basic breakfast. The property's condition was ok, the outside looked freshly painted, but inside was not good, the carpet was dirty, all the furniture had dust on it like it hadn't been cleaned for a while. The house inside smelled bad, since you allowed dogs in, it definitely showed, I found dog hair everywhere, smelling like animals had lived in there ( I am personally allergic to dogs, so I could tell). We kept the window open throughout our stay. It was hard to sleep at night since it was very close to the court house which has a bell that rang twice an hour, 24 hours day and night. We literally were awakened by the bell everytime it rang. very unpleasant and strange. Overall, the trip was great, we loved Olympic National Park, but the place we stayed wasn't so good, had a hard time having a good night's sleep. but we can't blame the bell ring to the hotel, but the place was a couple of blocks away from the bellm too close to avoid hearing it. Won't come back to this place for sure. I can't recommend it either

Excellent location. Good condition house. We especially liked all house heating. Good kitchen. Really nice view of snow covered mountains. Its managed by quality inn across the street so check in/out is easy. They also provide typical quality inn breakfast ( which I m not fan of). It has about 6 stairs for main door and I didn't find any ♿ way. It seems to have basement with car garage but was closed for renter.

My dog loved the place. Generally my dog is anxious at new places. This time, as soon as we opened the main door, he loved the comfort of the house. I have never seen my dog being so happy at a completely new place. For me the location was the best part, easy walking access to downtown and grocery store. Amazing hill top view and easy access to sidewalks for dog walking. Although the house was old and the mattress was too big that it was sinking, the house was remarkably clean. There was a free hot breakfast by Quality Inn. The street parking is generally crowded, not a concern, but I request during peak parking, maybe, back of the house designated parking be also open to the guests who are staying. The staff was super polite and professional. It was overall a clear 8/10 experience for us.

This was a very charming vintage cottage and we loved it. There was plenty of space for the 7 family members who gathered there for a full Christmas dinner. The hosts at the Quality Inn were so friendly and quick to respond to and resolve a heat issue. Beds had quality linens and were very comfortable. Can't say enough good about this place or the staff. We will stay there again!

Great location, breakfast is a nice perk, but unclear check in instructions. They also mixed up a booking and I had to call them multiple times to get it figured out. The property is not clean at all - fridge was rusting and had stains, no liquid soap for washing hands, very poor shower, thinned out linens. Not a good place to stay with an infant

Cute older house with plenty of room right at the edge of downtown and the ferry dock. Drove onto the Victoria ferry and the trip was great. Got hassled and searched on the Canadian side that put a damper on the day. Buchart Gardens well worth the trip.

The house was clean, spacious, and quiet, and the Quality Inn amenities across the street were perfect for starting a grueling hiking day. However, it was also very hot inside (78F)when we checked in, and with only one fan, it took a long time to cool it down enough for us all to sleep. It would be best if the owners provided more fans, or had the cleaning staff start airing the house out, before check in time.

This is a really nice little house with a lot of classic mid-century touches but modernized where needed. It was very clean. It is the stand-alone guest house of the motel across the street, so you get privacy of a house with the convenience of hotel front-desk support and their morning breakfast and coffee. There's ample parking on the house property for several cars. My major concern would be that the kitchen, while well equipped with appliances and seating, was scantily outfitted with cooking utensils, plates, glasses, etc. - - we didn't prepare any meals there during our one-night stay, but might have found it difficult to do so if required. There's a pleasant front yard but no real outdoor seating or play area. It is very convenient to the Port Angeles ferry, just a few walkable blocks. Be advised that the downtown steps which go up from the port and commercial area to the hilltop above are numerous and steep - - not convenient with luggage coming off the ferry. But one can walk a little further around the block and up a paved street to get to this very convenient house which we found to be the perfect place to start our 5 night circuit of Olympic NP.

Great location, walking distance (if you don't mind stairs!) to the ferry terminal, shopping, food, & drink. Breakfast across the street was a great plus. Took one star off of cleanliness as the pull-out mattress pad had long hair on it, like it hadnt been changed since last used, and a couple of the spare pillows too.

When we arrived the house was stifling hot- thermostat read 81 degrees. Just a few windows could be opened . Very hot during the night. Had to use floor fan and ceiling fan but did not cool down enough. Manager at quality inn said there was no air conditioning. It felt like a sauna when we arrived. Next day we left the windows open thinking it would cool down the next night. When we got back from Victoria the next evening it was still very hot. Again thermostat read 80 degrees. Hottest room was the back bedroom. Location of property was what we needed to get the ferry for a day trip to Victoria. Parking in front of house very convenient.
