Old Town Monrovia Hot Tub Retreat

We stayed here while in town for a family funeral and truly appreciated how clean, comfortable and charming the house was. The beds were very cozy, the home was well stocked with everything we needed, and the central location made it easy to get around. A lovely place to stay - thank you!

We were extremely happy with this house and host. We were in town for a wedding, and the location was convenient to all the places we needed to go that week - Pasadena, Disneyland, Venice Beach. The area was super walkable, with many restaurants and shops close by and friendly neighbors. A huge plus for our adult family group of 9 was that all 3 bathrooms were separate from bedrooms, so easy to share them. Beds were comfortable. The house was large, very clean, and exceptionally well-supplied, far beyond just starter quantities. There was even a welcome gift! The backyard was fabulous for outdoor meals and hanging out, such a peaceful environment, with views of the hills. Our sons also loved the hot tub. The host was easy to contact and communicate with, and highly responsive when a minor issue came up on our last night. She handled it quickly and completely. I would recommend this house and host without hesitation.

Great home in a convenient location.

Everything went well and host was very courteous. I have no complaints in regards to the house. The only problem for me was the parking was very reduced because I was driving a very long and tall van. Other than that there was a tree removal taking place at the time of our stay and I feel that could’ve taken place at a time when the home was not being used because it was a little annoying specially on a Saturday morning at 8 a.m.

The property was clean & it had plenty of space for our family. We enjoyed being close to Old Town Monrovia. Our host was good about keeping us informed about the fires & smoke in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay! Very clean and family friendly Neighborhood is ideal and serene! Had a couple of times couldn’t reach host but I would definitely stay there again! Met all my expectations!

We flew to Los Angeles for my dad's funeral and needed a home close to my parents home in Monrovia. This home was perfect for our family of 5 and was only 2 blocks away from my mom. Very clean with plenty of space. My 3 boys each had their own bed and a bathroom to share. Kitchen had everything we needed and having an area to do laundry was a bonus. Always nice to fly back home with no laundry to do. I highly recommend this home for your get-a-way. I was born and raised in Monrovia so it was nice to be so comfortable in my hometown. We went to the beach, Disneyland and Los Angeles. Perfect vacation home to see it all in southern California!

A group of 13 of us stayed at the home and had a lovely stay. Hot tub was a nice addition. When a minor issue arose owner was very responsive. Home was perfect location and great for a group.

The house provided a perfect amount of space for our needs. The jacuzzi was a bonus. Enjoyed relaxing on the patio.

House is old, but clean, plenty of comfortable beds, limited seating in living room and dining room. Disproportionate to number of beds for sure. Offstreet Parking for max 2 vehicles, neighborhood seemed decent (not at all sketchy). Hosts are very nice and responsive. Would stay again.
