Stayed Jun 1, 2026Great property!! Spacious with three separate “living rooms”—great for a large group to spread out in but one was large enough with plenty of seating for the whole group. Dining table was large with plenty of seating and some folding chairs as auxiliary seating. Kitchen was well appointed with plenty of dishes, cutlery, and cooking pots/pans/utensils. Pool was lovely for a day of kicking back—also well appointed with chairs/chaises/sun umbrellas. Towels, towels, and more towels!! Such a lovely surprise! Property was spotless on check-in. Close enough to walk (some walks somewhat long) to several coffee shops, restaurants and grocery shopping. Overall, a really spectacular property!

Stayed May 21, 2026The house itself was lovely, and we really appreciated that everything was exactly as pictured in the listing. There was a ton of space and the pool was great. However, throughout our stay, we encountered a significant number of cockroaches all over inside the house. While we loved the property, dealing with a pest infestation definitely impacted our comfort and overall experience. After digging into previous reviews on the property, it looks like this has been an ongoing issue for a while. It should be professionally handled before future guests stay.

Stayed Apr 9, 2026We had a large family group (11) that stayed on the weekend of April 10. There was plenty of space and bathrooms for everyone. The online pictures are accurate. The pool and patio looked lovely, but way too cold and rainy to actually use the pool. The lower level bathrooms are re-modeled and much nicer then the older bathrooms upstairs. The only downside, was the wi-fi and internet access was too slow.

Stayed Mar 19, 2026You can’t go to Austin and not book this property! The house itself is extremely charming, very clean and extremely spacious. We stayed with 12 girls for a bachelorette and everyone with the exception of two girls had their own bed (mattresses very comfortable so another plus!). The house is split up into almost 3 separate sleeping areas which was perfect for groups of girls who wanted to go bed early vs girls who didn’t. The house was very well equipped, fully stocked kitchen, lots of towels, including pool towels, paper products, etc. The pool area is massive but also very private! New day beds were delivered while we were there, so comfy! The location is incredible - less than 10 min drive to downtown Austin. There’s a huge park walking distance down the street with a coffee truck that made for a perfect start to our mornings . The owner and his family made our trip though - he came over to say hi after we checked in and not only offered to give any recommendations, but offered to book reservations/activities for us. He was constantly checking in if we needed anything at all and ended up catering two breakfasts for us. I would say it was like a concierge service that came with the house, something that made our trip even more successful. We will remember our stay forever and hope to be back one day!

Stayed Jul 13, 2025This was a really charming place! Loved the character of the house. Old and historical. As a keys player, the piano was a lovely touch. All in all, a solid stay. Our only downsides were low water pressure and the kitchen/dining room gets way cooler than the living room on the other side of the stairwell. Old houses can be strange! Beds were comfy. Big open kitchen and massive dining room table were good. The pool area is gorgeous. Great location.

Stayed May 30, 2025So spacious with multiple areas for our large group to hang out and also spread out when needed. Clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated. The pool/BBQ area was fun and adorable! Good air conditioning. Very few responsibilities when checking out. Responsive hosts when needed. Very minor concerns: Low water pressure. No early check-ins or check outs, which is difficult when traveling from out of state and not having vehicles to hold our bags (not their fault, but be sure to plan accordingly).

Stayed May 8, 2025This place was amazing! Not only historical but gave such an Austin vibe! The layout is great with 3 “dens” that had tvs and places for guest to unwind and not on top of each other. We had a large group and everyone had a room and our single teenage/young adults niece and nephews bunked in the rooms with two beds. Spacious bathrooms for several to get ready in at same time. 2 upstairs and 3 downstairs. We used Feti vans to pickup and drop off getting around the city. Very close to campus maybe 3 min drive. Beautiful views of downtown sitting out by poop. Catered tacos from Cabo Bobs and set up outside around the pool. Kitchen is small but functional. Served breakfast for 14 and had all the things needed to cook. Would recommend for gatherings or family needing to be close to campus or downtown.

Stayed Apr 10, 2025We had so much hanging out by the pool! The house was perfect for a large group, there was lots of living rooms and fridges! One of our toilets wasn’t working, I texted the team and they had someone over to fix it within the hour! Very impressed with the service. The house is on a very busy street so it is loud outside, make sure to bring your own speaker for outside by the pool. Also if you are ordering food delivery or Ubers make sure to specify it is the house with the neon b&b sign since the hotel next door has the exact same address. I would absolutely stay here again. We had so much space and it was an easy walk to cool restaurants and shops!
