Scott, Louisiana
Welcome to Scott! “Where the West Begins”
Circa 1910, This French Eclectic style building was built as The Bank of Scott until it closed in 1929 due to effects of the Great Depression. With its large significance to the area and south Louisiana commerce, this building was added to the list of National Register of Historic Places in 2016.
The Old Bank Inn is located in the center of Downtown Scott! The interior has 15 foot ceilings in the living area and all original creaky wood floors. The old bank vault built with 22-inch solid brick walls on all 4 sides now is the quaint, cozy kitchen space. The bathroom has a First-Class zero entry walk-in shower and a beautifully exposed brick wall. The living area is complete with tons of sitting space including space to lounge out and relax. The home is fully furnished including a queen size bed upstairs in a loft-style bedroom, spacious living area with 2 full-size sofas and an additional queen size bed plus a antique cypress dining table - **Please know the stairs to the bedroom are steep ladder-style stairs with handrails.**
It is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine in the brick New Orleans style courtyard complete with sitting area and landscape lighting. We loved the history of the Old Bank and to see it in person was awesome! Everything was super clean and if you like history, this is the place! We enjoyed our two night stay immensely! Should we be back in the Scott area, we will definitely stay here again if is available!

We really enjoyed staying at the old bank inn! It is a perfect location. Charming, well decorated! We will definitely be back.
We loved it! It's on a busy street so it's not quiet and peaceful but it is close to wonderful cafes and awesome antique shops and that's the very reason we came to Cajun Country! The history of the building and the unique furnishing are all lagniappe!!
Our accommodations met our needs of comfort, and to have space for the girls to hang out and family to gather for Birthday goodies! We love, loved the history of the Old Bank Inn and look forward to staying here again soon!
Loads of food options! Beautiful place. Easy to get around. Loved the beignets at Coffee Depot! Teenage son says Definitely haunted. Lol.

We loved this place. It felt like we were staying in a museum with all kinds of antiques and classic features. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the location was walking distance to food and shopping.
