Oceanfront Wave Watching with Hot Tub & Walk To Everywhere in Yachats!

The hot water in the hall bathroom sink was not adequate… but we made do with the shower faucet which had great hot water. The listing says the house only has one bathroom… so we were pleasantly surprised to find it had two… that is always helpful. It would be a good idea to update the listing online.

The response time was excellent when we had questions and when we needed a new. Offer pot.

I enjoyed the property - beautiful view of ocean, good location. Some opportunity to upgrade some of the furniture to be more comfortable.

Ideal location yards from the ocean. The house was very comfortable and extremely well equipped. Just 10-15 min walk into Yachats. You just cannot go wrong here!

Highly recommended! We loved our stay; cutest little house, very clean, comfortable and the view is spectacular. We had 4 adults and 2 children, plenty of room. The beach/rocks were some of the best we’ve ever walked on, thousands of starfish when the tide is low, lots of boats to watch and even enjoyed the few people on the beach.

Didn’t want to leave. Couldn’t be any closer to the ocean without being in it. Being January, house was a little on the chilly side. Heaters were undersized and noisy but the location and layout of the house made up for it. Just put on extra layers.

The ocean was literally just a few feet away! Front row seat (heated) to the most beautiful sunsets, storms, and waves… easy access to everywhere, beautiful trail, great restaurants. The house was clean, bed was comfy, and had all the necessities - market and Dollar Store nearby for what is needed. Will be back.

A few small fix it items mentioned to property manager. The guests who stayed in the second bedroom left a night early because that mattress was uncomfortable. Mattress in master is fine. But we would stay there again.

Lovely, homey property right on the gorgeous rocky Oregon coast. Surf watching from the living, dining and kitchen rooms, no matter the weather. Easy walk to the town of Yachats, for groceries and many dining options, or stroll north along the 804 to a long sandy beach. Perfect vacation spot.

The best part of this property is the ocean view. But, if there are more than 2 of you bring an extra outdoor chair. There are only 2 plastic adirondack chairs on the deck and no table or side tables. We do enjoy sitting outside as much as possible. The property is dated but beds are very comfortable. New TV was a great addition since our visit last year. We were still not able to get the dishwasher operating. Time to replace it. Kitchen is well stocked with pans and appliances you might need.

Jazz music was playing when we entered and helped to create a calm transition as we unpacked the car with our 2 dogs. Everything was clean and the sunlight made it brighter than in the photos. But the reason to stay here is if you want nothing between you and the waves crashing below except a small patch of grass. Also walkable into town or on the trail to the sandy beach. A perfect spot to unwind!
